News of the World targeted phone of Sarah Payne's mother | Media | guardian.co.uk

Sara Payne, whose eight-year-old daughter Sarah was abducted and murdered in July 2000, has been told by Scotland Yard that they have found evidence to suggest she was targeted by the News of the World's investigator Glenn Mulcaire, who specialised in hacking voicemail.

A bit of background on Sarah Payne..... an 8 year old girl kidnapped and murdered in 2000. This case shocked the UK so much that Sarah's Law which meant parents could get access to the sex offenders registry. The campaign for Sarah's law was in large part lead by.... News of the World.

The sick thing about this, is that Rebekah Brooks gave the mobile phone in question as a gift to Sara Payne, the mother of Sarah Payne.

This revelation is utterly disgusting and on par with hacking the phones of missing children and deleting messages...

Still to come... 9/11 victims families?
