You can continue to shop in places which charge you more, rather than seeking out bargains for yourself and your family. That's freedom of choice.
Sure it is. I never said we were smart. Nor did I say have a law to stop us from being stupid.

Read for comprehension. BY his measure, not that it didn't keep things from getting worse.

I wish you would think some and try to understand what is being said. Your silliness really doesn't move us forward very well.

Not being in poverty does not mean you will have a nice life, but it sure helps

Since claim by some for Boston Sci to lay off people is the tax, why are other medical device companies not laying off people? Others should be in the same boat should they not, yet Boston Sci is the only one announcing layoff that I know off. Perhaps Boston Sci is somewhat bloated and has too much staff and the the excise tax is a good excuse to lean up a little
There are many places laying off and they are doing so not because of one thing but all things combined. To keep jobs here we have to get over the idea that all corporations are bad and holding up their fair share.

I wouldn't disagree with certain individual examples but most of these would be in the financial segment which are getting all sorts of government assisstance.

I was once in a position that I recieved Food Stamps. Really, life wasn't that bad. Life is what you make it. If you are constantly desiring what someone else has, well, you'll likely never be happy.

The only extra thing Boston Sci would have to face is Obama care, and given the size of the company, I expect they already offered health care to all its direct employees ( subcontractors for janitorial services and the like excluded)

Unless other medical device companies do the same, I doubt the 2.3% excise tax or other government policies enacted by the Obama admin would be the cause of the layoff any more the Rim`s layoffs are the cause of the Obama admin.
