BREAKING: President Obama Addresses the Nation Tonight at 9

Obamatard. And I'm supposed to believe you are a man of means, education and wealth.

One can be very educated and still resort to this sort of language. There is no contradiction here.

Another Dems good, Repubs bad speech. I can't wait to watch, not.

Yeah, GOP are totally right in giving the Oil Companies substudies (sic) and tax breaks, and making those who work pay the full bill. Yeah, the TP should not compromise on anything, they should not budge because we know they are never wrong. NOT

There's nothing wrong with raising taxes somewhat on those who make over $250K a year. This is a "principle" thingie; not reality. As to making granny pay more for Medicare, if Granny's got a $1 million estate....if Granny's making an income of $80K+ a year...Granny can damn well afford to pay more than $95/month for her hospitalization. Gimme a break!!

Everything of his stance that you posted is based on value judgements and not on fact. Whether or not the rich should be taxed more or less is an opinion. Because its opinion its impossible to say that he is lying.

Given this internal contradiction, its hard to otherwise respond beyond pointing out the issues with your analysis.

Is Obama claiming 100% of the spending is so necessary that cutting any of it demands a tax increase to make those whose spending is getting cut feel better?

there is plenty wrong demanding only that those who pay most of the taxes having to pay more while everyone else won't have to sacrifice anything at all

1) it's a good campaign speech.
If you think he's worth voting for I suppose...
2) he's not entirely wrong.
Correct, there is an disagreement on how to move forward.
3) how can YOU say to granny, you know what, you should pay for all your medical care yourself to give the rich a few % less in tax cuts they survived quite comfortably before.
Because, that's not rally what's going on. Scaring old people is getting, well old. But I don't expect you to be honest about this issue.
4) there's only one loser in all this, the American people. Continue your partisan bickering, continue believing compromise is an evil thing, you deserve what's going to happen to you if you continue this game.
We keep spending more then we can afford and everyone loses.
5) when history looks back, the only ones to blame will be yourselves.

History will blame you actually, JBM, I have a copy of "History fo the 21st Century, printed in 2111... it fell through a wormhole.

I despise that ass-he attacks "the rich" and lies about them

Of course. But then I wonder if early onset dementia is the culprit.

No, I don't think that is his claim. At least not as far as I can tell. Can you link to the part of the transcript in which this claim is derived? Perhaps I missed it.

Its the result of engaging the issue on an emotional, rather than intellectual level. However, if turtle's claims about his personal life are true (and I have no reason to doubt the claims), then it would be understandable why he would be emotional about the issue.

Here he is whining about millionaires and billionaires

this guy is such an asswipe

TP are asswipes, and those in the GOP who bend over backwards to save money for oil companies, and not making them pay their share.

Want some cheese with that whine?

Back to a Triple A minor league game.

If he spends as much time bashing as Obamatard did it will be whining

I doubt he will tell a lie as big as saying the "rich" aren't paying their fair share

only a Marxist loser could claim that

He has bashed the rich 6 times so far

Oh here, we go. Bring out the mud. Didn't take long. "Marxist". "Marxist".

its fun watching you try to defend Obama's jihad against those who pay most of the taxes

Its funny watching the Obama fans defend the crap he spews. Class envy ruled that speech

I was trying to defend you in this post. I was trying to make bdboop realize that her accusal had no basis. seriously, calm down, breathe, and reread.

asswipes because they think the government spends too much and taxes too much? that position of yours suggests you are a net tax consumer and are mad that the TPA are trying to dry up the public teat

Uh I was making a rational claim

its emotional garbage to claim that those who make 22% of the income but pay 40% of the income tax aren't paying enough and everyone else-who pays less of the share of the income tax than their share of the income-are paying enough

its class warfare pure and simple

bdboop's post had no basis. not yours. are you even reading my responses?

best thing for this country is the Boehner and the tp to f this up. Then the idiots that voted for these idiots, will vote them out . . . again.

The TP can then take their muskets and plows and yell at the dem's.

no, the best thing for this country is for this problem to be resolved asap and for the country to remain economically sound.

You don't sound like someone who is having fun. You sound like someone who feels he's entitled!

you sound like someone who is upset with the rich
