Usually it's the Liberals that make this crap up then believe it themselves.

I have never heard such a wild and crazy thing, and I am am not ultra Conservative and have never in my life defended anyone for rape.

I once worked for a Corp. with about 5,000 employees and was first to hire a woman into a traditionally male position, and the first openly lesbian way back in the 70s.

So be careful with your labels and what you make up, even in your own mind.

With regards to Wu's latest issue, agree that he deserves to get his side of the story out. Facts are sparse at the moment...

I'm not making excuses for the guy, but there's no proof that a crime was committed as of yet. At this point it's just a bunch of he-said she-said.

Where does it say she registered to vote in August?

Can't say I disagree, but I'll leave that up to his constituents to decide.
No, if he's mentally ill and sexually assaulted someone--regardless of the victim's age--he needs to resign and possibly face criminal charges for the sexual assault.

Sources: Young woman accuses Oregon Rep. David Wu of aggressive, unwanted sexual encounter | OregonLive.com

Reporters could not verify the young woman's age. Notes on Facebook over the past 18 months indicate she graduated from high school in 2010. California records show she registered to vote in August.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

That just makes it all the funnier IMO

To be fair, the guy does have somewhat of a history, but I will reserve judgment until the facts are known.

I didn't say it was A-Ok, I said I would hold my nose and vote for him. What would you do is a similar situation, not vote or vote for the Democrat?
