Danish and Norweagen media reporting that eyewitnesses on the island are reporting the shooter is a tall blond man who speaks Norwegian fluently.

Kurds, Turks, Arabs, Egyptians, Persians, Pashtuns and other poor uneducated misunderstood muslims are being oppressed, those freedom fighters who stand up to defend the downtrodden islamic peoples of the world are doing Allahs work by sacrificing themselfs in the holy war against non believers. Wait a minute, what do all of the formentioned peoples have in common? And another thing, I thought most of those innocent holy freedom fighters were educated and come from privileged families. Who is spreading this misinformation about islamic extremist? Could it be that Islamic clerics are purposefully spreading misinformation to fool the gullible masses of infidels in the free world? Of course this was not muslims who commited these horrible acts in Norway. And shame on you evil right wingers for perpetuating a stereotype. Afterall Islam is a religion of peace and a huge stack of dead bodies.

It became quite the ritual to attribute such barbaric actions to believers of Islam, I don't think this one has anything to do with Islamic jihadists at all, it sounds more and more like a domestic political attack.

I'm not blaming people for automatically attributing these actions to Muslims because it does happen to be Islamists at over 99% of the cases but I do think that we should restrain ourselves from declaring the background of the perpetrators before we have any actual clue.

A terror group, Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami, or the Helpers of the Global Jihad, issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack, according to Will McCants, a terrorism analyst at C.N.A., a research institute that studies terrorism. The message said the attack was a response to Norwegian forces’ presence in Afghanistan and to unspecified insults to the Prophet Muhammad. “We have warned since the Stockholm raid of more operations,” the group said, according to Mr. McCants’ translation, apparently referring to a bombing in Sweden in December 2010. “What you see is only the beginning, and there is more to come.” The claim could not be confirmed. It is not uncommon for terrorist groups to advance claims of responsibility for high-profile attacks, only to have the claims prove to be spurious.

Means nothing, every time there's a terror attack an Islamist group would take credit even if it didn't commit the act, that way they get more followers to their barbaric organization and more credit amongst the terror organizations.
There have been dozens of cases in the past when a bunch of terror groups have claimed responsibility for an attack that none of them has committed.

already being discounted on most media outlets over here. Even an American right wing nut job Professor supposedly an expert on terror, who is on the BBC, and who was blaming Al Q and called this credible is now backtracking big time and calling it a hoax but still wont admit that there is a chance that it is not Al Q although the reporters are pressuring him hehe.. kinda funny to watch.

Back on May 3, 2011 The group Ansar al-jihad al-Alami issued an urgent alert to all Mujahedeen mobilize.

Abu Suleiman al-Naser from the Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami sent an urgent message on jihadist forums, to all jihadists around the globe to mobilize and prepare to wage jihad operations against the Zionist-crusader alliance.

Al-Naser added that he calls upon all jihadists to launch immediate and effective actions to prepare for "Ghazawat" against American and their allies in NATO interests around the world. He called on Muslims around the world and especially in the U.S. and Europe to contribute in these "Ghazawat".

Al-Naser asked all Muslims to stay away from institutions, embassies and all American and European places of interests around the world. The publication of a Press Release from the Mujahedeen confirming the death of Osama Ben Laden will be the trigger to start these attacks

Yes, it is ignorance for sure, which is why there should be more liberal educations provided for Muslims, and this is especially so when they are residing in Western democracies.

I may be wrong in guessing there is Islamic involvement but so far I've been correct 100% of the time.

I want the truth and refuse to jump to the usual conclusions before the facts are out there.

Why is it that the right always jumps to conclusions? The Spanish conservatives did that on the Madrid bombings for example.. why? They blamed ETA before they had the facts and look where that went..

Fact is, based on the information we presently have and provided that the shootings on the island and the bombs are linked (which the police say they are), then it does not look as an islamic extremist attack unless the blond haired guy they have in custody is the first "western" looking Al Q terrorist sympathiser.. it could be, but more likely not.

And reports from the Swedish news wires is they have identified the shooter on the island and he is talking. Guess we will know soon what is what.

Prove that I have been 100% right when it comes to assuming that Muslims were responsible for some bombing incident wherein innocent people were deliberately murdered?
