Consumers in the U.S. are increasingly using credit cards to pay for basic necessities as income gains fail to keep pace with rising food and fuel prices.

The middle class who used to rely on their homes as savings have seen their home value plummet to where their mortgages are higher than worth of their houses..

This is the lowest Ive ever seen the middleclass in my lifetime, the worst postion they have ever been in...and the teaparty keeps RAGING how they need to rip the genitals off public workers and Abolish social security and medicare...

This is the most disgusting display of greed in my lifetime also...and I pray it all backfires and blowsup in their faces.. This is truly dispicable
 
Why is it that when prices go up every douchebag doesn't actually consider the causes of raising prices and just goes right to "the rich are greedy" Its a bit stupid.

Oh sorry this is the everyone wants to end stuff they wanted to end forever...so lets just rage against those people time.

Why is it every scumbag cheerleader for the teaparty cant grasp how bad the middleclass has it and how good the rich have it...and I didnt rage on the rich...I raged on the douchebag teaparty greedsters....read the piece and try to grasp that people are hurting
 
Well, I'll tell you how you can keep up with rising prices. First, vote out all the incompetents that are supposed to represent you, but for some reason won't. Party affiliation doesn't matter. Vote them ALL out!

Second, you don't need to watch Will Smith's newest movie. He's a bad actor and watching the garbage Hollywood produces today only makes you dumber than you already are. The film industry is deliberately enslaving you.

Third, even if you walk a mile instead of using your car to go to the store, you won't die I promise.

Fourth, eat at home and stop going to restaurants every time you're hungry just to look like a goddamn moron because you ordered a $3.95 a la carte taco that you paid with your credit card when you could have prepared a nice dish with what you've got left in the fridge.

Fifth, make a goddamn budget. Do you know math? Well, take a book and learn to add and subtract. If you earn $1,800 a month, you cannot spend more than that. Got it? Want me to make you a drawing?

And sixth, learn to give value to small things like reading a book or having a conversation with your friends or relatives instead of destroying your future by maxing up your credit cards on something that cost 3 bucks and you didn't need in the first place.

Oh no! The people closer to bottom have it harder with a shorter way to fall! What will happen next? I imagine something predictable. Ask the gov why house prices went up, ask the gov why the value of the dollar is falling faster than ever. While you are there ask them why houses got to be so expensive it took thirty years to ever dream of fully paying one off. Then come back here and say what you just said.

The tea party is just so evil! They want to take your cake away that they PAY FOR. Maybe if you douchebags didn't pay the other side of the table to agree with you, all those states wouldn't have been trouble. Maybe if you realized that the right to associate doesn't mean bargain, it means form a group. I imagine all of this is hard to follow.

I think it's the only choice they have.... I racked up debt in college and I am paying it off. Everybody does it from time to time. :shrug:

Sadly, I don't see too many in the middle and lower class without unnecessary items like the latest cell phones, the latest Chinese produced fashion, or foreign make automobiles.
The middle and lower class seems to be its own worst enemy.

Really? None at all? People have managed their budgets so well and cut out waste so well and eliminated extraneous expenses SO WELL that they are now so destitute that they cannot pay for "necessities" with anything but credit? Really?

I'm actually not protecting anyone. I treat people the same across the board. You problem is you want to rage against people that want to take your freebies away. Then turn around and pretend you have some sort of right to it. It would be hilarious if it wasn't for the shear amount of hypocrisy that makes me face palm.

first of all, I have no idea who is a douchbag? conservative? libertarian? moderate? republican? democrat? I'ts a meaningless label. but I can say OP is correct to say that the current middle class is hurting, and pretty badly too. something we can all agree on. However, like people from different parties, we all have different solutions to this problem. Republicans says you need to put more cash into businesses, libertarian says let the people smoke more 'good' stuff, Democrats like myself thinks you need to invest into infrastructure and education to solve the economic problem. We all have our own say here.

One thing I can say is that your blaming A or B or C doesn't really help to solve this crisis. Why not see if you got any ideas?

So we invest in infrastructure, increase cash flow, and at the end of the day, we go home and smoke a little something. Problem solved.:cool:

I find it hilarious how so many of you play the rich guy rolls and you probably have squat...lol....Im sure I could bury many of you in wealth..thats not the point

The point is that many on this forum DENY that its the rich pummeling the rest of america...and the teaparty claims its the working class pummeling the rich...anyone with half a brain knows the teaparty is totally utterly full of ****...the rich control it all...they do all the pummeling.

This will backfire in the end...so many guys I worked with and vets i know are turning on the gop...republicans for decades...but working class republicans..
Hopefully the rich in this country will have the sole responsiblity for getting republicans re elected.
Im a retired Police Captain with 27 yrs service in a major city...Im supposed to be the dog...and I thought I was for alot of years...but im nothing like some of the young greedy douchebags that have been breeding lately

Everybody has some level of culpability in regards to their current and future condition. It is not solely the fault of everybody BUT the middle class that SOME of the middle class is bad off.
