My opinion reflects both reality and freedom. I own several businesses and its my right to treat my employees with respect, and not like disposable office supplies

Increasing payroll taxes (Reagan), while raiding the SS Trust Fund. Stealing $12 trillion from the treasury, and another trillion from TARP.

Extortion is how Republican SugarDaddyState Government operates.....as it has a monopoly on brute force........as does its holy subsidiary THE CORPORATIONS.......and they both deal in ultimatums, threats, and violence.

Put the money in the bag or were going to shut your govt down, is what the republicans are doing............put the money in the bag or were sending men with guns to your door.........

To the rightwing, that sounds like freedom

Looks like someone didn't read my reply. That would be why I qualified it with "unless you are part of a union" because I know there are instances where a contract is signed.

Wrong again. It doesn't matter if you're in a union or not, if you have a contract that requires due process before termination, then the employer must give the employee due process before termination

People seem to have problem with due process. Sure, some made poor deals. Renegotiate when the next contract comes up. Talk to your negotiators. Demand they do a better job if you don't like what they agreed to.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

Stupid administrators. Signed a contract they can't afford.

They should put the union in charge. They know how to negotiate a contract.

and then you cry foul when you are asked to defend your unsupported statements, such as this one:
in many cases employers have no other choice. You union types whine that those who work for wages are often paid "unfairly" well that position sort of destroys your claims
no one is seeking a dissertation. only a factual basis to support your statements
it can only be concluded that you are posting bull crap when you are without an ability to offer anything which would give your position
in short, you are consistently wrong. you cannot point to by instance in which the "employers have no other choice" but to adopt the wage increase sought by the union
in no way have you demonstrated any expertise in labor law
we are negotiating about dividing a pizza and in the meantime israel is eating it

Good gawd man.....how can you be this naive?

In virtually every municipality where subprime union slob teachers reside.........on one side of the negotiating table sit the Democrat Union Slobs .......on the other sit Democrat Politicians.....LA would be a perfect example........as would Detroit......as would every liberal ****hole across this country.

Demand what exactly? That the Teacher's Union cease and desist from spending millions of dollars PROTECTING BAD TEACHERS? That the Democrat Party cease and desist from spending millions of dollars PROTECTING INCOMPETENCE AND CORRUPTION?

Report: Nearly Half Of Detroiters Can’t Read CBS Detroit......a liberal utopia realized.
