That would be a real education for all of us.
And with them having no stake in the testing. What's their motivation to do well when they are not held accountable?

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

    You mean this Michelle Rhee?

According to audio made by Rhee at the CHEC and reported by Alexander Russo and the Washington Post, Rhee said she, "took little pieces of masking tapes and put them on everybody's lips." At this point in her story the crowd laughs. She goes on to explain that, "their skin is coming off and that they are bleeding," and the crowd still is laughing. This is just wrong.
Peter Zucker: Michelle Rhee and Masking Tape. Where is the Outrage?

A USA TODAY investigation, based on documents and data secured under D.C.'s Freedom of Information Act, found that for the past three school years most of Noyes' classrooms had extraordinarily high numbers of erasures on standardized tests. The consistent pattern was that wrong answers were erased and changed to right ones.
(A similar thing happened in Georgia and they were found to be cheating.)
When standardized test scores soared in D.C., were the gains real? - USATODAY.com

    No thanks.

shh, don't tell my principal that i didn't quite get to trig standard 15.0 (polar coordinates) in the curriculum standards this year

which precludes, naturally, 16.0, operations in polar coords

really, she would not want to hear it

teachers are under a great deal of pressure these days to cover all the standards

one of my district's top EMPHASES the last 2 years, as a matter of fact, is for all teachers to have posted in clear view every day the exact standard the class is working on

really, classes all over N CA, upper left hand corner of the board: "trig 16.0: adding and subtracting complex numbers in polar form"

    back to the basics, baby

Such was the case for the $600 dollar hammer. I am also aware of a coffeepot that had classified specifications. That one cost a few thousands of dollars. So do you want the truth or are you only happy when repeating your talking point?

Not if the employer signs a contract obligating the employer to give the employee due process before termination.
Which tend to only exist in the Liberal Union Slob World............

I forgot that mgmt is not responsible for the contracts it signs. Please forgive me
100 million dollars to fire 7 teachers (only 3 of whom were actually fired)..........

......would go along way in hiring new teachers or improving the schools of da childen you and liberals claim to care so much about............
    .
    .
........but considering lawyers represent some of the biggest donors to the DNC.......I guess its a win-win for Democrats and a lose-lose for our children.

Yep!! $600 hammers is capitalism at its best. 50k for a teacher is proof that politicians are beholden to unions

I know this is true because someone on the internet keeps saying it

What is it you are talking about?

    Where is the evidence?

Where is the proof of what you suggest?

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. yes - we all can read your pontifications. We all know what you believe because you have made a decision to believe it.

However, if you actually want to engage in debate and not just preaching to the trees, you should present evidence to support your allegations.

Got any actual real true historical record evidence? Or is this pretty much what you have?
