june 10: Review & Outlook: The Lone Star Jobs Surge - WSJ.com

Some 37% of all net new American jobs since the recovery began were created in Texas.

Using Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data, Dallas Fed economists looked at state-by-state employment changes since June 2009, when the recession ended. Texas added 265,300 net jobs, out of the 722,200 nationwide, and by far outpaced every other state. New York was second with 98,200, Pennsylvania added 93,000, and it falls off from there. Nine states created fewer than 10,000 jobs, while Maine, Hawaii, Delaware and Wyoming created fewer than 1,000. Eighteen states have lost jobs since the recovery began.

I agree that one would have to pretty dense not to see the meaning of the mid-terms. It was a result of people being very unhappy with the state of the economy. So they threw the bumbs out and elected folks who promised they would make things better. They haven't. They've made things worse. They're on the verge of making things tragically worse.

Hmm, I would say that links without analysis are a waste of time. Do you think that anyone actually reads them?

I'm glad this was your point and not mine. Yes indeed, few are willing to read things that might comprimise their beliefs.

I'm happy to read source material if someone bothers to explain why they think it's relevant. If it's just a naked link without any explanation ... as I said, I don't need assistance reading the news.
