you're own data is saying that Clinton cut the taxes to the rich by 8.7% over what Reagan did . While Bush only cut the top rate by 4% ….. so you own data shows that Clinton “cut” the tax on the rich by more then Bush.

    Honestly.

If trees and rocks could vote, the Republicans would have a lock on elections.

Jamesrage doesn't appear to actually get it at all. Maybe in his neck of the woods it might reflect that, but I can tell you with 100% confidence that the local Tea Party in my area is full of independants, and yes, about 10% Democrats.. Democrats that happened to vote for Obama. IN the three meetings I've attended, the focus of meetings is completely bi-partisan, and we discuss the issues, not party politics.

Speaking as a tea party participant, we have lives and can't be all tea party all the time. Wait until next election gets underway for real. "You ain't seen nuthin yet"!

This 'movement' has already peaked and this is evidence of that fact.

That is 100% spot on. The 'party' part of their name is a true oxymoron. Too bad George Carlin is not around to use that one.

    Tim-

How many of the of the Tea "Party" candidates are independent or democrat? The voters may be a mix of independents, democrats and republicans but it still does not change the fact that all the so called tea party candidates are republicans. If I am wrong then please show me how I am wrong.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Source?

80%, not even close. Each house district has relatively the same population and since Republicans control the house 242-193 I would say it is pretty safe to assume that most Americans live in a Republican controlled district. Is the margin as big as that map might make it seem? No, but your claim is probably further from the truth.

More puzzling is for anyone that "Likes" the OP, seems to indicate their approval of irresponsible government. That's what the Tea Party is trying to end. It all goes back to whom you want to fail, irresponsible government or responsible government.
