"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"
Cicero Marcus Tullius
Way to cut spending, republican a-holes
They constantly prove that they dont give a damn about cutting spending. They only care about winning
The recount in the supreme court election that was requested by the democrat.
The protests against Scott Walker and the senators (security and clean up) requested by democrats and unions.
The recall elections, started by, you guessed it, unions and democrats.
The running of the fake democrats cost less than 500k. Not the multiple milions of dollars the democrats have managed to piss away in just the last few months or that you erroneously claim.

If you feel that 500k is too much to spend to allow both sides to campaign in an election, then that's fine. I have a disagreement. I am not certain that the republican strategy was all that wise, but I think it's fair to give them the opportunity to campaign since they were stuck in madison (at the capital) the entire time leading up to the election.
Even you admitted that the republicans only wanted to delay the election. Their only desire was to screw up the process, a policy the voters rejected.
