China: U.S. Spends Too Much on Military

The U.S. spends 4.7% of its GDP on military, whereas China spends less than half that.

I don't see what this has to do with the American left. Even fiscal conservatives in the U.S. are calling on a reduction in military spending, along with entitlement programs. Our military budget is bloated and needs trimming. It has been a sacred cow for too long, spanning at least four administrations. It needs to suffer cuts, period.

exactly, and nations such as China hide their expenditure for a reason as well.

Canada does not get "foreign aid" from the US. The Main Battle tanks Canada does have are used Leopard 2's bought and borrowed from various european countries.

Secondly if the fact that DU is used in M1's is in Wiki, then it is not really classified information anymore
