Scary sad perception you've got going there, home skillet. I'm in Minnesota, going for a walk around the lake before we head for iHop.

Pool day here, enjoying beating on liberals and confusing them with data before going into the backyard swimming with the grandkids who will be coming over later this morning.

You know what I don't blame Washington, I blame us. This partisan crap has to end or this country will fail. Republicans...everyone does not share your values. Democrats...Everyone does not share your values. We have to co-exist if we are to remain a great country. How patriotic are you if we are hoping for the president demise in order to put your candidate in the white house no matter what the cost is? Hell even Reagan compromise with the democrats.

And by the way, both parties share responsibility for these numbers. Please name one job bill or ideal that the republicans have place on the table that would put Americans to work right now. All I seen is jobs being loss due to spending cuts . Just look at all the public job being loss. Boehner himself said that if jobs are lost due to spending cuts then so be it.
I blame us to a certain extent, but I also blame our ****ty, first-past-the-post electoral system that only serves to reinforce gerrymandering and the two parties, which are only becoming even more polarized.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

Obama's done a crappy job trying to get us out of it.

How many budgets did the Republicans balance between 2001-2007? ZERO! At a time when they controlled both houses of Congress and the White House.

Someday, you'll realize that Democrats are only half of the problem. Three guesses as to who the other half is.
The Bush/Republican Congress economy was never at 9% unemployment. Things went to **** when you-know-who took control of the government.

What liberals want to ignore is that the only time that the Republicans had total control of Congress and the WH in modern history was from 2003-2006 and the results speak for themselves, results that liberals want to ignore.

Lets complete that thought shall we?

the only time that the Republicans had total control of Congress and the WH in modern history was from 2003-2006 and the results speak for themselves setting the stage for the largest economic collapse seen since the Great Depression as well as rising budget deficits and national debt.

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

Interesting how the facts and actual numbers don't support your position. Democrats took control in January 2007 and the collapse began in December 2007 but don't let those facts get in the way of your partisanship. Oh, sorry, forgot I don't respond to people who cannot defend themself so they have to go to someone else to get infractions issued

Obama record, 15.1 million officially unemployed TODAY 2 1/2 years later, 16.2% total unemployment or over 20 million TODAY, 4 trillion added to the debt as of the end of fiscal year 2011, and a rising misery index.

Did I miss the part where you provided the actual record of just what Democrats did then to cause this collapse letting Republicans off the hook?

Ok, explain to us exactly what the Republicans did to cause the economic collapse. Thanks in advance.
