Minn. braces for shutdown at midnight; Democratic gov and GOP lawmakers at odds over

Re: Minn. braces for shutdown at midnight; Democratic gov and GOP lawmakers at odds o

Gee, that's funny, since people with degrees have the lowest unemployment rate and the higher ones level of education the more likely they are to be liberal.
I suppose it depends on the degree and where they get the money that employs them. It might be instructive to see the correlation between serious degrees and political leanings. I spend much of my time with engineers, mathematicians and scientists in the private sector. This morning as I consider it I cannot think of even one who is a liberal. Not even the college new hires.

But among people with less serious degrees, say in Women's Studies, Education, Political Science, Underwater Basket-weaving...I imagine they would be quite likely to work in support of public sector unions, work in government, and be beholden to their masters. So yes, they would be statists. They would be liberals.

This is just two sides that are unwilling to compromise. Both are in the wrong.
The side that is on the right side of history has no business compromising.
