It's impossible for this guy to act tough and be taken seriously.
this situation allows asses like Obama to often win elections while flushing America down the toilet
the dems need lots of dependent entitlement addicts so that party has done everything possible to create as many of those people as possible
and the GOP realizes there are so many addicts they have become cowardly and unable to cut the entitlement addiction off because there are too many addicts voting
“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.
We are living in extremely complex times. The issues we face as citizens, states and nations have been decades and years in the making. I don't have solutions, but I know the solutions are not going to come from partisanship. Never happen. To look at an issue and say "There's only one solution, my party's solution", is myopic at best, especially when your party (Democrat or GOP) was very much involved in creating and perpetuating the issue at hand. I know, I know the standard answer to that is "Yeah, but ________ (pick the opposition, leader of party) did it _____________ (first or worse)." That takes back to the circle of blame and partnership and it all goes round and round. The only people who benefit are elected officials and the people and corporations that keep power players in office. Around and around it goes again.
People seem to have come to the belief that there is only one solution to all complex problems and that solution is whatever is the opposite to solution of the other party. That is idiocy. How about both parties are wrong? How about both parties are correct? How about solutions that don't belong to either party?
