No, I don't. Obamacare will wipe this country out. 30,000,000 new people on what amounts to higher class welfare. Do the math on that. Something needs to be done, but Obamacare is not it. It will cost Obama the next election, IMO.

If it is not shut down it will go a long way toward contributing greatly to the continued destruction of our economy, and just the idea of it will do damage to the outlook into the future, and since with the feeling that things are going to be better tomorrow investing in it dies.

Obama has spent us into a hole and now he wants to tax us deeper into his recessions bottomless pit, and his plan to waste more money on stimulus that won't help so far has done nothing but add to the debt.

Federal appeals court rules health care reform bill is constitutional

Federal appeals court rules health care reform bill is constitutional - CNN.com

Washington (CNN) -- The political and legal future of the sweeping health care reform bill received a big boost Wednesday after a federal appeals court in Cincinnati ruled in favor of the Obama administration and Congress, concluding a key provision in the landmark legislation was constitutional.

    snip

The opinion is the first of three rulings that will emerge from federal appeals courts around the country in the coming weeks over the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

The issue is almost certain to eventually reach the Supreme Court, perhaps by year's end. More than two dozen other legal challenges to the law are floating in lower federal courts.

    snip

A key part of the ruling was written by Judge Jeffrey Sutton, a President George W. Bush appointee and considered a conservative on the court. He said the health care field is different from other streams of "commerce."

Sutton added, "The government has the better of the arguments." He was supported by Judge Boyce Martin -- who is considered a liberal and was named to the bench by President Jimmy Carter. He turned aside the argument by opponents of the law that economic "inactivity" cannot be regulated by the national legislature.

    snip

Judge James Graham -- a Reagan appointee -- agreed with most of the opinion but expressed some concern that Congress could go too far in other economic arenas, under limits imposed by the Constitution's commerce and spending clauses

It's going to SCOTUS, there are other challenges, this is a bump in the road to repeal.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

i don't doubt that it is going to the SCOTUS, but i found it interesting that the conservatives on the court both supported it.

I really think this entire process is pointles as its obviously destined for the SCOTUS and anything before it is going to be, relatively, irrelevant.

I actually think we could save ourselves some money if we instituted some method in which a super-majority of justices (7 out of 9 I'd say) could choose to elevate a case directly to the Supreme Court. That way issues like this could just get to their obvious and inevitable final location rather than wasting money and time going through the motion and show of the lower courts.

SCOTUS would overturn such legislation because it would mean more work for them.

It's completely immaterial at this point.
