The man is a comedian, calm down about it. He's bound to make some jokes that cross some lines for some people. It's not a big deal.

Honestly, the good he does (presenting news stories in a humourous fashion, and thus getting otherwise apathetic Americans interested) outweighs any political spin he might put on his show.

My bad, crying that what Stewart said is racist.

    2) You know damn good and well, that if Stewart--or anyone else--had mocked Obama this way, you would be calling for his head. Look what happened to Mark Halperin for calling Obama a, "dick".
Stupid argument. Here's a video of Stewart mocking Obama like he mocks every politician (it starts at 4:40). You're only revealing your ignorance of Stewart's show.

Humor me, because my sound is on the fritz: did he mock Obama with an Amos and Andy voice? And please, be honest, because I'm going to ask someone to verify it for me.

Again, you wouldn't be saying that it's, "just comedy", if it was about Obama.

It's the first post apdst and YOU LIKED IT. So to answer you're question: You, apdst, are crying that what he said is "totally Racist".

No, he didn't use the same voice for Obama as he did for Cain. It's a different, equally mocking voice.

And for when your sound starts working again, at the bottom is a video of Stewart mocking everybody with various obnoxious accents.

Yes I would. I've no great love for Obama. I'm British. XD

False equivalency. It's not even close. Stewart did a spot on impersonation of Cain's voice. People do impressions of Obama all the time, he has a particular speaking pattern. Nobody calls that racist.

This is just about a bunch of butt-hurt righties who are pissed off that they get called a racist for using racist slurs. Not all right-wingers or conservatives are racists yet they sit by while their "side" attacks minorities and organizations that service minorities. They clap and cheer when Republicans pass bills that are deliberately aimed at suppressing minority voters.

Now they are crying racist because Jon Stewart DARED impersonate a black Republican's voice? Give me a ****ing break...

Then it's the intent of Cain bashers too. Liberals hate conservatives, but they especially hate black conservatives or women conservatives. If foodstamps or basketball can't be uttered together with Obama (He is a foodstamp president who plays basketball) then Cain and Don't like to read can't be uttered together without being called racist. (no proof Cain doesn't like to read)

You've neither heard McCain's voice, nor the Amos and Andy voices. Stop making yourself look foolish.

It wasn't racist, it was southernist.
