China hosts Sudan leader wanted by world court

    article

BEIJING (AFP) Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir is to arrive in China on Monday for a state visit, with rights groups outraged over the warm welcome for a man accused of genocide and war crimes.

China is a key supporter of Bashir, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against humanity that occurred in Sudan's war-torn western Darfur region during the country's civil war.
China once again showing it has no intention to be a responsible member of the international community and does not deserve a Security Council Veto.

Of course they are. China is drilling for oil in Sudan. That's why the genocide is taking place.

Responsible member of the international community?

Theyre just looking out for their interests as everyone else looks out for theirs.

China doesn't claim to be the bastion of human rights, they dont care who they have to work with, they're just interested in getting what they want out of the relationship, be it oil, metals...

Yeah, it's a ****ty situation, and I'd love nothing more then to see bashir hung fro
A gibbit, but make no mistake, theres a lot more leaders in this world that should be wanted by the world.
