Who cares? Does anyone really think it matters if a Rep or Dem wins the Presidency, or anything else? What's the ****ing difference, you look at the trends in this country they all go the same way regardless of who's in charge. Debt? Increases regardless of whos in charge. Personal liberties, decrease regardless of who's in charge. Size of government? Increases regardless of whos in charge.

All the Rep vs. Dem debate is deciding is which bullet is going into the gun that shots you.

Yes, Republicans would never do this and have never been caught cheating.

This thread and the faux outrage from the ultra-fright-wingers is pure BS. Republican governors and secretaries of state all over the country are trying to change voting laws. Where's your outrage over those cases?

Florida Governor Rescinds Felons' Voting Rights
Florida Republican Gov. Rick Scott and his administration voted Wednesday to rescind automatic restoration of voting rights and some civil rights to tens of thousands of convicted nonviolent felons in the state, a move that critics say smacks of a return to Jim Crow-era laws in the Sunshine State.

Under the new rules, Florida felons will have to wait a minimum of five years after they’ve served their sentences to apply for the right to vote. More serious offenders would have to wait seven years.
The new law, which goes into effect immediately, cuts the number of early voting days in Florida from 15 to eight, and places more restrictions on voters seeking to update their names or addresses at the ballot box. It also requires third-party groups that register new voters to submit forms with those voters' names within 48 hours or face fines.

Limiting the ability of voters to update their address or name could impact voters in college -- a typically Democratic constituency. Meanwhile, the Herald notes, early voting was seen as having contributed to President Obama's 2008 electoral victory in the state.

The newspaper notes that in the first week of early voting in Jacksonville for a city election, 16,230 people cast ballots during the first week, at a daily average of 2,318 compared to 3,190 during the remaining days.

Scott's office reportedly said it has received 14,000 calls and emails in opposition to the law and under 1,300 in favor of it.

You could substitute liberals for conservatives and still be spot-on. Both sides want people to think the other side is the one that does not support the people or democracy when in fact neither of them do.

Your post is ridiculous to say the least. You state that "they'll lie, cheat and steal to get control". Talk about partisan hyperbole. Sorry, if the Dems aren't happy sitting back while the Republicans try to maintain a tight-fisted control over an election process that has become tainted by procedural gaffes and a hostility to voters who are rich, white and Republican.

Added restrictions? You mean like have to show ID to prove that you are who you say you are? Restrictions like not being able to vote as many times as you can get to a different precinct? Restrictions like Dead people not being able to vote? Restrictions like questioning the fraud represented by liberal groups like ACORN? Restrictions like questioning the handing out of cold hard cash on the street on election day by demo operatives?

Yeah, we wouldn't want to put a kink in demo cheats and frauds now would we?

Maybe he's talking about Black Panther thugs standing outside poll places.

Why is this? Because the prisons are filled to the brim with black thugs who would vote Democrat? Hmmm, is that what you mean by Jim Crow?

No car trunks full of ballots there.

Like how the Democrats try to subvert absentee ballots from our boys in uniform, while simultaneously trying to get voting rights for convicted felons in prison.
