New York State led the way for sure tonight... these groups can openly and LEGALLY refuse gays
To be fair, they are private institutions after all. It might be a discriminatory practice, but i don't view it as all that outrageous.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

I dont believe its outrageous at all either... I just feel that people are over looking that fact that religious groups were a strong factor in the compromise that passed. And to clarify a little better, the real protection is for religious groups.. etc.. that enjoy tax exemptions from the government. So yes they are "private" but not compeltely.

    Good point.

Is that coming to a court near you?

We do have NABLA out there wanting to have sex with kids.

The Governor said he'll sign it now so that's a done deal.

Your argument is ridiculous. Animals and children are not capable of consenting to a marriage contract.

the gay parents will adopt a child and make him **** their pet dog out of pure sadistic desire. Kind of like a frat initiation, like welcome to the family kid!

Well if you look the stars and the planets align when the ocean is at high tide in both the Antarctic and the Arctic it all makes perfect sense.

They're all things Councilman is in denial about.
So follow me into the desert
