US troops coming home? Obama to say on Wednesday

Well here you said, "Where is Obama saying he will pull out? Wait thats right he will use it to win the election and do it next year during the election season. What a partisan ass."

Which is it, do you want to pull out now as I do? Or are you just taking that position as a dishonest political hack?

I am just showing how Obama is using the troops for political gain

Come on be a man, take position?

Do you agree with continuing the decade long wars as Obama does, or do you think its time to withdraw.

I did not ask what Obama wants. I asked what you want. Once again, do you support continuing the decade long wars in the ME, or don't you?

Man up and take a position.

Yes I say kick the terrorists ass Do not let the fallen soliders lives have been for nothing.

I disagree with both you and Obama on that. To continue to sacrifice our young men and women for no gain is immoral in my eyes, not to mention that it is just adding to the national debt as taxes to pay for the wars were cut during the Bush Administration. You see, I am opposed to wasteful government spending that adds to our already huge national debt.

In case you haven't noticed, we have some problems of our own right here in this country that needs to be addressed.

Whether or not they died for nothing has little to do with anything presently going on in either Afghanistan or Iraq. If we were ever concerned about that, we would have treated their lives more preciously and never put them in a situation where that would ever have to be said.

re-posting that because it deserves to be read

You would be correct, if not for the fact that the service members, as a whole, don't want to leave the job half-done.

Most of the people who insist that we leave Afghanistan, have never and will never serve in the military and their POV is a million miles away from your average service member.

Well, I think I'm correct regardless. However, what was the job?

Destroy a terrorist threat and that threat wasn't represented by a single person.

and how will we know when that job is finished?

"A senior U.S. intelligence official told ABCNews.com the approximate estimate of 100 al Qaeda members left in Afghanistan reflects the conclusion of American intelligence agencies and the Defense Department."

Is this what so frightens you that you are willing to continue sacrificing our soldier's lives and adding $150 billion a year to our debt?

When the enemy no longer possesses the will to wage war. It's just like any other war. Just like The Civil War, The Boer War, The Algerian Civil War, The Spanish Civil War, The Peninsular Wars.

One would think that vice mindlessly parroting the usual, "duh...what does victory look like", for nearly tens years, the more intelligent and educated Libbos would actually do some research on the subject and find out for themselves what, "victory looks like".

I'll make it easy for you; reverse engineer the equation and tell us what, "victory looks like", to the Taliban and al Qaeda.

If those 100 AQ's still have the will to wage war, then after we leave their numbers will swell into the thousands.

Problem is Obama refuses to listen to the generals. Obama has no expierence and does not understand the harm he is causing

Yes just let terrorists attack us and say oh well

According to the Libbos, WW2 brought us out of the Great Depression. Massive government spending-n-all.

It's no accident that the withdrawal is going to be complete riiiiiiiight before the 2012 election.

So how many Taliban are there?

We didn't go to war against the Taliban because they are not an international threat. If you think it is, cite the officials who said we were going to war against the Taliban when we first invaded Afghanistan.

Than why isn't the GOP demanding an immediate withdrawal to spoil his secret plan?

They were an ally to AQ, which made them just as big of a threat. Italy wasn't a threat, but we declared war on them, when we declared war on Germany and Japan.

Who were we fighting when we first invaded Afghanistan? The Taliban, perhaps?

Because most in the GOP know that if we leave, with the job half finished, we'll only have to go back and do it again, costing even more American lives. Say what you want about the GOP, but they're not going to expend the lives of American service members to win political points.

Just as I thought, no documentation to back up your personal opinion. Thanks anyway! :sun
