Have not read whole thread so sorry if this was already posted. Here is where they tell what folks were yelling out. Benjy from Howard Stern was there. Why is he so mad? LOL

The second is the immediate problem for Weiner now having a lack of income, especially with his first child on the way because he has no private sector experience. Hello? And people elected him to help lead the country without any practical work experience? So he can't do much more than be an elected official? Sound familiar? No wonder the USA is in such bad shape with career politicians. Where does he think he should "land" without any experience?
The Clintons consider his wife as part of the family and Bill thinks of her as another daughter.

Like a cigar blue dress "step" daughter? Hillary better keep Weiners wife away from Slick Willy.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

    yesterday:

Florida Democratic Rep. Alcee Hastings faces a House ethics investigation over sexual harassment charges made by a female former member of his staff.

An inquiry by the Office of Congressional Ethics began at least a month ago, Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, the conservative group that recently filed a lawsuit against Hastings on the charges, told POLITICO on Wednesday.

Winsome Packer, a former staffer on the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, which was chaired by Hastings, alleges that she was the victim of “unwelcome sexual advances” and “unwelcome touching” by the congressman. Packer also claims that she faced retaliation by Hastings and his staff director, Fred Turner, when she tried to report their behavior.

Hastings’s attorney, Tonya Robinson, told the Wall Street Journal that the congressman “in the strongest terms, denies the charges. He is confident that he will be fully exonerated. Mr. Hastings has stated unequivocally that the record will show that the plaintiff’s claims are untruthful and without merit.”

This case is not the first time Hastings has had a run-in with federal ethics rules. As a U.S. District Judge in south Florida, he was impeached and convicted by the Senate for bribery and perjury in 1989, and removed from office.

if he is found guilty i do hope that he will again be impeached and removed from office
I will win this lawsuit. That is a certainty. In a race with a lie, the truth always wins. And when the truth comes to light and the personal agendas of my accusers are exposed, I will be vindicated.
as expressed by a former judge who was removed from the bench for bribery

... As a U.S. District Judge in south Florida, he was impeached and convicted by the Senate for bribery and perjury in 1989, and removed from office. He was acquitted in a criminal trial on the same charges because his alleged co-conspirator refused to testify. He was also one of six lawmakers who was being investigated for possible misuse of federal overseas travel funds, though the House ethics committee dropped its probe earlier this year.

wonder why the ethics probe into the misuse of travel monies was dropped

    today:

New documents disclosed in a complaint from the watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) appear to show California Democrat Rep. Laura Richardson and her staff clearly violating congressional ethics rules and potentially federal law.

The documents show Richardson using official taxpayer resources for political events, including fundraisers. “Rep. Richardson didn’t just violate House rules, she likely committed crimes,” said Melanie Sloan, CREW’s executive director.

For crying out loud, isn't this old news?
