I'm sorry, where did I say that I support the government taking private property? I said I support the government having a reasonable tax rate. We currently have one of the lowest tax rates in history, it is a contributing factor to this recession and slow recovery, it needs to go up.

but its the rich lefties who are trying to destroy the middle class by addicting them to handouts and sapping their ambition. its called creating more voters
Oh, I totally agree. The left is just a guilty as the right in this game.

Is it a fair wage for a fair days work, or is it stick it to the working man as much as you can? These are not new issues. There is a natural conflict between managment and labor. Both have self interest. And both have to know when they go too far.

However, it is clear that the trickle down effect many espouse is less certain than some proclaim.

Niether party is actually for the working person. That's sadly true. And as we demonize workers repeatedly, it is less surprising than it should be.

Let's cut to the chase. You want people here to live like they do in China, to work for the same wages, and in the same conditions, so that the private industries can increase their profits.

I agree with you to a point. Corporations 'flag' is not a American flag. Its the dollar. Oh hell, just read my signature. It says it all really.

There is a simple explanation for a company or corp. that is doing well and not to be passing on the profits to employees or hiring for that matter.

In this economy with Obama at the helm the over whelming feeling is uncertainty and nothing kills business like the fear of an uncertain future.

If Obama hadn't lied so much and been so negative and wasted do much money we could have been on a real up swing last year.

I know more about how to run a business and I think it's transferable to being fiscally responsible in Government.

It worked well for me in City Government.

Hey Boo when a company wants to decide where to expand their business and the government steps in and tries to tell them that they cannot because the unions dont like it...what do you think any sane business man is going to do? Speaking of course of Boeing.

We have a hostile regulatory environment, we have endless regulation and red tape, we have even more increased costs on new employee hires and current employee hires through the health care reform act and we have a constant blame the companies game going on in Washington. Your'e surprised they arent tossing raises and new hires around? Really?

Im NOT answering this for him. But I personally feel there must be a balance. Unions have really screwed the pooch. BUUUUT..... corporations have really become something much more than fighting Unions. They are holden to Wall Street. They dont do whats good for the country as a whole or whats best for their dedicated employees. They do whats good for Wall Street and I find that unfortunate. Ever hear the saying Money Talks but Bull**** Walks? That should be on the dollar bill in place of In God We trust. People dont care about America like they used to. They arent patriotic. They are in love of money. That crosses both sides of Congress and all across America.

The government or the UNION? Expalin.

Look, regulations have been largely lax, which played a role in the problems we faced today. And if you went with a single payer system, removing health care from the work place, business woudl be much better off.

As for Boeing, didn't the union strike? And didn't they give concessions for a while? Didn't boeing make a mistake in what they thought workers would accept?
