If you were looking for Barack Obama last night, you would have found him in Miami, at a low-end fundraiser. The problem is no one seemed to be looking for him.

Despite efforts by his campaign team to recapture the spirit of 2008, using the same musical soundtrack, they are failing to generate the same electricity. Last night’s turnout, as a case in point, was embarrassingly low, especially since the ticket prices were likewise, starting at an affordable $44.

The official attendance was reported to be above 980—less than half the capacity of the 2,200-seat concert hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts.

Sad thing is that he probably could win a re election if he were to simply accept that his policies of his first term didn't work, and vow to change course toward more free market ideals. But, as ideological as this man is, that isn't going to happen, so we are left with watching this train wreck proclaim a weak, "It's not my fault" and loose!
