They like the Duggar's... They Duggar's are very Conservative and I know they attend some big PAC. I think it's CPAC.

No, I am just somebody who has a graduate degree in economics and works for a major investment bank... I should be able to decipher the difference between short term losses and long term profitability. If the American people had a stronger grasp of economics, they wouldn't have stood by and watched our government lead us into this recession. If Americans knew more about economics, they be demanding the end of both parties in this country and actually focusing on the long term stability of the country.

I have seen statics that say Christians have lower IQs, and they are a GOP voting block for the most part. I have even seen polls that compare Christian IQs to those of atheists, and they say atheists have higher IQs... and a lot of Socialists are well educated in philosophy and theories, and a lot of Communist Socialists also happen to be atheist.

Yeah, there are some really smart, well educated, and wealthy people voting GOP... but there are also some very extremely uneducated, social issue voters only. I guess that would put average people in the Democratic party, in general... but no. The generalization is that Hollywood elitists are Democrats.

But then again, I kind of don't trust those polls about the parties and whose voters are more intelligent anyway. I have seen polls that suggest GOP voters are really uneducated and ignorant as well as those suggesting the same about Democrats. People don't tend to vote the same way their entire lives either...

Yeah, rich people vote Republican. But is that any surprise? The GOP is practically owned by big business.

In terms of education, you're a bit off the mark. People who never went to college tend to vote Republican, and people who are post grads tend to vote Democrat. In terms of undergrad students, it depends on how you ask the question. But having an undergrad degree these days is almost like having a HS diplomna in the 60's.

You'd be unhappy too if you lived in the age of trying to move back to the 1800's.
Sorry, Grant... but this is probably going to piss you off, but I do remember that Obama was well know for getting the college vote. Any college town or city was securely his, and I have also heard the same thing about people who are post grads. And most of the lawyers and doctors I know who vote republican are older... baby boomer generation, whereas the younger lawyers and doctors seem to be independent, moderate, or more Democrat than the older generation.

Well if you're an American that partially explains why American banks are having so many problems and the housing market is in such a mess. It must be your job to explain that the billions in bank losses are really profits, huh?
I should be able to decipher the difference between short term losses and long term profitability.
Yes, if you had any experience in economics or banking you could.
If the American people had a stronger grasp of economics, they wouldn't have stood by and watched our government lead us into this recession.
Weren't the banks involved in this at all?

If Americans knew more about economics, they be demanding the end of both parties in this country and actually focusing on the long term stability of the country.
    And you're an American??

    Great! Let's see them!

a lot of Socialists are well educated in philosophy and theories, and a lot of Communist Socialists also happen to be atheist.
Yes, i know that a lot of socialists are well educated in theories, In fact they are all theories. And the first thing Communists do, after murdering all opposition, is to ban all religion, apart from state worship.

You seem to spend a lot of time reading polls. I'd like to see a couple that support your views.

    I don't get pissed off.

And of course Obama got the college vote. These are people still getting an education. We all know about college kids, don't we? Spring break?

There was absolutely no real reason to vote for Barrack Obama apart from the color of his skin. And there is absolutely no good reason to re-elect him.

Proof positive, perhaps, that there is more to having a brain, than just having a degree. The scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz notwithstanding...
