Senate Page is fired for anti-Harper protest

Who gives a flying **** what the majority think? I don't know about you, but I generally stand by my convictions no matter how many people may disagree with me. For instance: no matter how many people keep telling me that gay marriage is wrong, no matter how many people keep voting against it, I'm gonna keep telling them they're full of it.

But because you can say they are full of it... they can then respond in kind?

Apparently the government gave a flying **** because they fired her, and rightly so. Perhaps the next time she has something to say she can pick another venue, and a more articulate message..

"Stop Harper"???

It means nothing whatsoever. I agree that stupid people have a right to their opinions but intelligent people have the right of response, and they responded.

If she was to support Gay marriage (which is legal in Canada by the way) then she would have had message. But what part of 'Stop Harper' can anyone agree with. She is an obvious dunce.

Sure. Why the hell not? It goes round and round and eventually one side wins. And my side is eventually gonna win this one. :D

What is your side here? Stop Harper?

Stop Harper where? How? When ? Why? For what reason? What are you supporting here or protesting against?

You need to chill. I was telling Wake that the pro gay-marriage side will eventually win. Jeezus. What did they put in your coffee today?

My apologies. I didn't realize the conversation had moved on from empty pages in Canada to Gay marriage in general.

I am chilling as I type this.

You may say that.

Sides don't "win".

Life isn't a game.

A lot o people here don't like Harper. I was a huge surprise to me and others he got a majority.

Quebec was more of a surprise.

But there was little alternative to Harper. I think he's done a very good job.

I just re-read my post and cannot see where I claimed she was fired for her "specific politics".

Do you have a direct quote of mine saying I did?

You said...

There are people with convictions. That's why she was fired.

which I took to be referring to her political convictions. If I was in error, my apologies.

The Bloc lost so many seats because they told their supporters to vote NDP. And Harper is an ass, he is striving to repeal the gun control and and scrap social health care, something that none of us want to see. I will protest if either of these happen!

Would you mind posting support for your claim that the PM is trying to repeal gun control and scrap social health care?

The Liberal Party didn't have an attractive platform, nor leader, and the NDP cannot be taken seriously.

Why would anyone vote for the opportunistic Bob Rae as a Liberal when he almost destroyed Ontario as leader of the NDP?
