Senate Page is fired for anti-Harper protest

The Liberal Party didn't have an attractive platform, nor leader, and the NDP cannot be taken seriously.

Why would anyone vote for the opportunistic Bob Rae as a Liberal when he almost destroyed Ontario as leader of the NDP?

i dont know but they vote for Bob Rae as interm leader.

Yes, I happily joined the majority of Canadians and have no regrets, so far.

Okay, first off Harper did not win with the majority of Canadians on his side, he did not win over 50% of the total voters so lets get that straight, and im not saying it because Im against harper all that much, don't mind actually just wanted to get that straight.

Secondly to the OP, what this girl did was gutsy but ultimately juvenile and disrespectful of the democratic process, that's the problem with democracy, you're not always going to like the result, Harper and the conservatives were elected in
A free and fair election, and we as citizens must respect that, having said that, I think the current system is flawed and must be replaced with proportional representation.

That's the word, I stick to it.

Jetboogieman.

Stephen Harper won the majority of seats and that's what counts and matters in a Parliamentary Democracy. He didn't do badly in a five party race.

Gutsy? How so?

Harper has kept Canada ahead of most other countries in the world. We can just look south to be appreciative.

And it was right they fire her. It was a win/win.

Quebec won't make the same mistake twice. The NDP has embarrassed them.

What else do they have though? The Bloc certainly didn't do anything or them. The Liberals? That is a joke of a party now, and Quebec will never be ruled by the Conservatives. Remaining option ===> NDP

They wouldn't be 'ruled by conservatives' in a federal election any more than they are being ruled by the NDP now.
