Meh. She had 3 weeks to go on her contract and didn't think her job was all that useful to her anti-Harper agenda so I'm guessing she chose to go out with a bang. I say good for her and good luck in whatever she plans to do with her life. At least she cares enough to voice her opinion, unlike many apathetic youths these days.

    exactly
    she went kamikaze
had to know the repercussions which would follow
and recognized the opportunity to embarrass the politician was worth the personal expense of doing so
only wish there were more young (and old) people with such conviction

Wait, the pissboy was dismissed because of a Harp seal in Canada?

I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

    21 with conviction.

No, it was merely a "look-at-me" opportunity, and nothing more. Let the talk show circuit begin.

Sadly for her the people of Canada had just demonstrated a pro-Harper opinion and that seems to take precedence.

There are people with convictions. That's why she was fired.

Because I'm not Canadian, I don't understand the background or significance of this issue.

But it's so much more romantic of a narrative if the person fired did so because of some deep, personal conviction that has changed their lives.... bla bla bla.

She wanted her name across the internet, and discussions about her in message boards like this one.

    She succeeded.

Other than that, her next "conviction" is to figure out where dollar-drinks are being served tonight.
