Seriously though, if the dollar suddenly goes through hyperinflation, well all trucking pretty much stops or slows down and the grocery stores suddenly have no food. I would rather have stored resources than gold that I cannot eat.

Obama knows exactly jack **** about what it's like to be poor in this country. ****, I wish he had grown up poor, then he probably wouldn't be trying to push European style "Social Democracy" on us.

Why get out of debt? If the USA does experience serious inflation, you will be making payments on the loan with dollars that are worth less.

Businesses can't start hiring Americans again if they've moved to India.
Finally some one can see through the BS, this has been in the making since Nixon started courting the Chinese. You can't bring 3 billion plus workers into the job market without causing employment which means loss tax revenues. The end result is no different then buying foreign oil Americans lose jobs- money that would be kept in circulation in the USA is now circulating in the nations of India and China.

Those jobs outsourced to foreign nations are not coming back, no president can stop the financial holocaust that we are facing. Want a job apply to WalMart or MacDonalds they will stay in business as long as Americans have any spending power

Brittany laughs at me for building a second larger pantry in our basement. I have been spending an extra hundred or so a month lately on non perishable food, and placing it down there. I have been buying gas (Yes even at these prices) and storing it underground, bought 4 cords of wood, already have plenty of guns. Lot's of propane to run our colemen stoves, and barbeque, I plan on having enough for at least a year, but we might need more?? I expect that when the **** hits the fan, it'll take a good year before all the trouble begins to settle..

I know I sound all doom and gloom, but I've done the math. There's no way out of this mess short of a global reset of financial systems. When the USA goes, they all go.

How do you plan to protect it? Those without will try to take it away from you, will they not?

I think he mentioned he has weapons.

I am doing the same thing roughly, and also have plenty of firepower to protect my home, as well as my dog that is pretty protective. There is always more to do to get ready, but I have a good start, and will not put up with any BS when it does hit the fan.
