Rep. Anthony Weiner has called an afternoon news conference Monday amid a fresh round of sordid allegations involving the married congressman, including the release of a new set of photos that appear to show him posing shirtless.

Since he is a Dem, of course he won't resign, and I don't expect the left will give a damn. To care would require moral standards, and since we are talking about liberals... Well....

Here's my assessment, ive always said Rangel should be skewered for what he did by the way.

Republicans (especially the family value council sitting ones) who get caught doing this ****, deserve ALL the ridicule they get, im sorry but there shouldn't be any "superior morals" party to begin with, that **** should be out of politics.

What Wiener did was wrong, and he's going to pay for it one way or the other, but at least he doesn't stand up on a pedestal and tell us all how moral he is and how we should all live.

The dude should just resign. You can't say you "take responsibility" on one hand, and not resign on the other. Not when you're a public official elected on the public trust.
 
So will be hearing an apology from Media Matters, HuffPo, and all the liberal sites who dogpiled Andrew Breitbart for being a "hacker".

He only lies when his personal life is involved - he doesn't lie professionally / when working for Congress... :lamo

There's probably more yet to come on this... of course he should resign and of course he's NOT taking responsibility, but he wants to keep saying he is so someone will believe him. (e.g., repeat something long enough and it becomes reality).
 
Masters of double talk, and hypocrisy, Wiener is only the latest in a long line of liberal irritant, instigators that will be little more than fading memories in the future....Arrogance, and hubris are wearing thin on the public these days, just ask Alan Grayson how his ass hatery worked out for him.
