I don't have options. I survived, it did some damage. I wouldn't go there again.

I'd get kicked out of my heart transplant clinic on a diet like that.

It's the dumb Americans we need to be concerned with, the ones that think Palin, Bachmann, Perry and the likes of such clowns can be a good President. Just because cons were able to sneak GW in doesn't mean they'll be able to sneak another dummy in.

Even if we agree that George Bush was the worst President ever, what's to be done about Barrack Obama? Is calling a presidential candidate "dummy" your idea of discussing the issues?
If you made yourself available to other sources of information other than Faux News you would find out that things are a lot better than if we would have elected McBush and continued the Bush idiotic policies.
In fact Barrack Obama is continuing the idiotic policies of George Bush and is actually aggravating them.
Just imagine the number it would be if we would have done what Reps/cons wanted to do - "nothing". It's easy to complain about what is, but if we were in a depression and McCain was president, I'm sure all the Reps/cons would be saying "it's not so bad" - "what depression" - and "those people without jobs don't want to find jobs", but since it is Obama that is President, they want miraculous recovery after 8 years of corruption.
It's likely, after BHO's campaign, that optimistic people looked to the future with some hope and perhaps some positive change but there ain't neither. Not for the better anyway.

Still better than the depression Republicans would have put us in.
You have no way of knowing that. Just another guess, sans facts.
Their confidence in Congress is lower, thanks to the upsurge of Republicans that got voted in on Nov 2010.
Obviously the confidence in the Democrats was even lower or they wouldn't have thrown the bums out.
Considering your double standards and the drivel you've provided, I would say I'm doing great.
Did BHO extend your unemployment benefits?

It's my belief there are really two sides to this debate. First should we be taking away from the disabled and the elderly. I think the answer to that is a resounding “NO”

The next part is why are we ? In my opinion, if welfare was ever run properly, we wouldn't have to. We were a nation of people that use to care about those that “couldn't” take care of themselves. The problem arose when we said … well .. lets extend those same benefits to those that are just having a hard time of it … and has now ended with 2nd and 3rd generation welfare families, that have never attempted or wanted to work to support themselves.

Welfare should be designed to get those that are capable of working off of welfare, not to create a life long dependency on it. If we were to do something along those lines, we wouldn't need to have this discussion, because the money would be there to give to those that can't work and support themselves.

The problem I have with most liberals is they never want to fix anything, their idea of fixing it is to spend more, tax the wealthy …. and blame Bush, ….. take away those 3 things and they have little or nothing to say.

What do you mean use to? We care about people in trouble, but there is a limit to what is fair. And the American people give plenty to charities and churches that help the poor and disabled. The rest of your stuff I agree with.

And furthermore, this whole notion of TAKING AWAY from disabled and elderly is wrong. That premise that it was theirs to begin with is bull****. You have to keep an eye on bleeding heart rhetoric, they will substitute "take away" for "give" every time to change the perception of the truth.
