so I suppose you support the abolishment of Fox News on these same grounds?

    Just kidding!

Seriously though I don't remember a "no silliness" caveat in the first amendment.

There is a whole discussion on this in the Law and Order Forum.

Wrong. They were protesting a U.S. Court of Appeals decision that UPHELD a BAN on dancing and other forms of protests INSIDE the monuments.

The police were not brutal. There was nothing brutal about the way the police handled the situation.

Do you think police should uphold laws, that could be clearly defined as unconstitutional?

Yes? did you even see the full video? by European standards at least, those police reactions are overly brutal in arresting people who arent even resisting. if they were resisting with violence those police reactions would not be brutal, but protestors used no violence.

in the end the police even chased out the media...

Well, The Ban had to go through District, Superior, and to the U.S. Court of Appeals... I don't understand how you think it could STILL be defined as unconstitutional after going through three levels of court systems to determine that very question.

    It's a public space.
The view of the courts is immaterial, this is a clear violation of a persons rights.

So, its your opinion that public places can be used for the people for whatever purpose that they want?
