Sucks to be you guys. I'd rather have a city full of gun wielding citizens than a city full of armed criminals and unarmed citizens.

Look at the listings here. Singapore is ranked 9th. Out of the 50 cities in the list none of them are USA cities.

OK, so all you managed to do is show us a list of 49 cities, 48 of which don't beat their citizens over minor offenses.

That's not exactly an argument for the necessity of Singapore's brutal predations against its own citizens.
