Sapiens - A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari.

I've mentioned a couple of times, that as a budding youngish philosopher, I seek out books in order to find some truths.

I managed to stumble onto quite a bundle of truths in this book. The premise is evolutionary, so religions are considered to be a necessary fools errand. Not dissed at all, just mentioned.

I especially liked the section on happiness. It opened my eyes.

The writing is about the period from 70,000 years ago to today.

I highly recommend reading this to anyone who might have a misplaced importance assigned to themself.

I have read it, and there is plenty of discussion that book should generate. I really enjoyed it.
