In 4 months I will be out of Marine Corps and be a civilian again after 5 years of active service and a 1 year deployment to Afghanistan. I have been doing my transition classes and getting my VA, Eduction benefits and my college set up. I find myself more afraid of this change then the one to become a Marine in the first place. I don't know if it's normal or just me, but trying to find a job, living place, paying bills, while being a full time student is more scary then getting in a fire fight. So I was wondering if my fellow vets out there have any advice for me.
As for my school. I have applied for my post 9/11 GI Bill and I will being doing my associates degree at Pierce Community College and then transfer to a 4 year school to finish my History ( American) Degree.
