Bush Senior failed and G.W. failed in several ways but now one holds a candle to Obama's massive Failures and he continues to make it clear that he is lost in a world he doesn't understand how to form a coherent foreign policy in dealing with anyone. He has failed when it comes to the economy and it can be seen in the amount of money spent on his failed stimulus. Had that money been given to families homes would have been saved, and a lot of people would be out of debt completely. We the People need to take back our Nation and get out of the party mode ans mostly stop calling each other names because in the end we are one people regardless of Country of Origin, Color, or economic status. We have to have people in office that know and understand the Constitution as it was written not as they wish it was. We cna do it but not if you feel like your person is better than someone else's. Take Sarah Palen for example here are a few facts that never come up.I have used these facts before but they fit the tone of this blog. I may be all wet but I am old enough to remember not only when this Nations was revered around the World but when Californis was the envy of this Nations for being number one with our economy and our scholls were the best. Some would say we have come a long way since the fifties and I agree but where we ended up is not by any stretch enviable not in this State and not as a Nation under Obama. 1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as She took the Governor's office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican's "Corrupt Bastards Club" (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, "la la la la" (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar. 2. Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called "ACES." Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, "don't let the door hit you in the stern on your way out." They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country who did anything similar.3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor's office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as "pork." She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the "when-hell-freezes-over" stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we'll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governor's jet because it was extravagant.Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor's cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning - I imagine - that she's packing heat herself).. I'm still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed "gosh and golly" mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America. No one else could do it although they tried. If that doesn't impress you, then you're trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand. 5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn't start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started. Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again. 6. President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewable by 2025. We are already at 25%. I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look cool. But that's just a cover-up. I'm still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what mine has done in two and a half years. It is clear that people who are wanting to over through our way of life like the Wall Street idiots will never have anything to use in their proposed Revolution., and thank God they are mostly Liberals who don't own personal weapons.
Can you imagine a group with civilian small arms attacking say, Camp Pendelton Marine base to capture weapons to put in the back of pickups so they can succeed in their quest?
They would be wiped out in minutes.
So have the Rebels been receiving aid in the form of Weapons and ammo? and if so who is the supplier.
Most of the arms are available from what our troops have captured in Iraq and Afghanistan so there is one potential answer, but I really can't see that happening. It is possible that one of our allies has helped more than they have let on.
I just can't see a rag tag group being able to seize the number large caliber weapons from trained Mercenaries.

My older bother got one of the early transistor radios for Christmas and he would go to sleep listening to music which at the time I didn't care fro and I would take the radio and search the dial until I found Ira Blue on KGO out of San Fransisco at a place called the hungry eye.

It led me to talk radio, the news and took me into journalism and communications, and over a nearly 40 year career I have still to this day never for got this.

From School which I graduated from at San Diego State early on and being a disk Jockey and on to career in executive management and back into news and reporting culminating in being a Talk Show Host who for 6 of 7 years in my last gig beat Rush Limbaugh in the local ratings prior to my retirement.

I was always sorry i never learned to spell and I tend to be wordy, but I have always stuck to the Joe Friday rule of, Just the facts ma'am, which is the who, what, when, where, how.

That has been lost in today's news.

My inability to write properly was never an issue because I was the only one one to see what I wrote and it was all about the delivery and the voice inflection.

Every time I see or hear a controversial story about some political figure I check an opposing News group to see if it's reported and if there is spin on it.

I then go check as much as I can to see what the truth is, and who then came closest to the facts.

I find that ABC, NBC, CBS, & CNN seem to miss most stories that shine the light of day on any story that is unfavorable to any Liberal yet will jump on the slightest thing they can blow out of all proportion about anyone who is not a Democrat.

On the other hand I find that Fox News not the Entertainment Talk Shows like O'Reilly, Beck, and Hannity, are pretty good at reporting all the news including stories that are not flattering to Conservatives.

A case in point is the Weinergate story which has received Little coverage in the "Major Media" in contrast to the unbelievable amount of attention they are giving Sarah Palin who holds no office is not running for anything and is going around talking about the Constitution and the values our Nation was founded

I also see a lot of name calling and claims that do nor represent her record in Public Office.

Believe it or not I think it's time to back off the Weiner story and let the Congress and Police do their jobs. I see too much speculation and I might have done a bit of that myself.

The latest is the communications with a 17 year old young lady. If we pay any attention to what Scientists tell us about the world around us, we know that our World has a life span because they believe at some point the beautiful Blue Marble we call Earth will come to an end as the Star we call the Sun begins to die, and expands and the Earth is engulfed by it and as was said in the 1950s movie "The day the Earth Stood Still," is reduced to a burned out cinder.

We have to wonder why are we here and what is our purpose for existence in the first place, and what can I do to make a difference?

I have seen in a few minutes of death in 1984 that there is more to our lives than what most of us see here and now.

We just got passed what one man figured was Armageddon and yet we are still here. Why?

I believe it is because we are all going to face our own Armageddon and we can't know when that that may come.

We could be killed in a car crash or a lightening strike, or die in our sleep any day.

The thing is are you ready for the end what ever that may be or when ever it may come?

I believe that we need to change the World and what, we as humans collectively believe to insure that we so not go quietly into the darkness that many think is our destiny.

I believe that Men long before we were born were able to ponder this in ways that we don't have or take time to think about.

I'm not talking about Religion as much as I am talking about the reality we all face.

There is in this World a truth that we can never escape and that is we are here as a human for a short time and we will go away and what is it we leave behind.

21 Religions that I know of have the same "Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." Including some so-called religions I consider are Cults, such as Islam.

What does that mean?

We as the human race have to change and stop fighting over things that are meaningless, and become a race of Humans that is looking to keep our dreams alive for EVER.

Of course not. So why were they here? What difference did they make in the World as we know it to be?

If we as the highest form of life to ever exist just die and there is no tomorrow then there is no reason to go on.and we can go ahead and kill ourselves now and screw it all because what the hell is the point.

Our we can take the wisdom People that were here thousands of years ago to heart and begin to work together to insure that we continue as a meaningful force in the Universe and work to find a new Earth to grow in and continue to advance as a race that did not just go away with no reason to have been here in the first place.

Jesus life and Resurrection could be a myth. There is no way I can know for sure because I am not all knowing, but I do know this.

If we continue on the path we are on we will all have been here and lived and fought and died for nothing at all.

Treat everyone you meet as a friend and set your petty feeling aside and "Do unto Others as you would others as you would have others do unto you," and lets stop all the fighting and the disagreements, we as the Human race have placed in the way of our growth as the predominant life we know of,

I see hundreds of posts where all I see are people who repeat what they have seen or heard on TV or Radio.


Few people do the due diligence of looking up the subject before they respond to a post.


They use verbiage they hear or read from someone who also did not do any research before they shot their mouth off.


I have found though all the years of my life that people who care about the truth and honesty think before they respond and rarely resort to name calling or categorizing people as a group for the actions of one or two bad actors.


I tend to do that by lumping all those people in a group that lacks the ability to think for themselves.


We see it here in the Forum every day.


I am a racist, too partisan, too opinionated, and too religious.


I will never give in to being bullied and pushed around by anyone whose mane claim to fame is their party or political affiliation.




It is beyond me why people will protest a Nation that has made all things possible.



I have come from a large family where my Dad a WW-II vet put his life on the line to give me a chance to be what ever I want to achieve to a nation where some people don't understand that if we don't continue the fight we are going to end in poverty, and like any other third rate Nation in the World.



We need to be the Shinning City on the Hill as Reagan said and lift the rest of the World to our level and stop apologizing for our prosperity, and rejoice in our accomplishments.

They have adopted a totally nasty, disparaging, disgusting, name for members of the Tea Party movement, and it's time to fight back.

We already know that Liberals have little ability to think for themselves which is why the always try to use their usual tactic in an attempt to put us on the defensive and draw the conversation away from what ever the central issue actually is.

We have to refrain from being dragged into the mud with them and use the facts and the truth no matter what, and don't deviate from the topic at hand.

A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then
insured them against, among other things, fire.

Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great
cigars, the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company.

In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost ‘in a series of small fires.’

The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that
the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion.

The lawyer sued and WON!

(Stay with me.)

Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that the claim was frivolous. The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer
held a policy from the company, in which it had warranted that the
cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them
against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable
fire' and was obligated to pay the claim.

Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance
company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his
loss of the cigars that perished in the 'fires'.

NOW FOR THE BEST PART...

After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him
arrested on 24 counts of ARSON!!! With his own insurance claim andtestimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was
convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.

This true story won First Place in last year's Criminal Lawyers Award
contest.
