Look at all of the American Liberals here rushing out to the defense of MSNBC, and all of it weak arguments.

the rabid left can not concede reality, as it is counter to their hopes and aspirations for the world

Out of all the Liberals that have posted in this thread, one of them half defended MSNBC, even though he said it was in poor taste.

Not really rushing out.

And I agree, this was in bad taste. The entirety of the MSM (Fox, MSNBC, CNN, etc.) is full of bull.

Ah, well, many folks in the media stick their feet in their mouths from time to time. It happens.
Okay, so someone fouled up, apology accepted, let's get back to business.

Yea but there is a big difference in these 2 cases.

In this MSNBC case all I can see is they used a false picture to garner some sort of negative image or make ridicule on Palin. I dont understand why they would do that, just showing her CBS interview would be enough , we are talking about the the Palin train wreck after all.

But in Fox News case, the footage it self was not false. It was real, but from another event. What they tried to do there was to prove their political point that the protest they were reporting on was "HUGE" and had lots of people, and in reality that was not true. So what Fox News was caught doing was at best bending the truth and at worst out right lieing about factual events.

While both are wrong the difference between them are crucial if you ask me.

I have no doubt that media posts incorrect images quite often, but the problem comes when those incorrect images are used to prove a political point and mask the truth. Mistakes do happen, but hiding behind "ups mistake" constantly is not a mistake.. it is a pattern.

That is what Fox News has a history of doing.. everything from this Hanity case, to showing Rep Conyers picture in a story about Rep Jefferson's indictment, to mistakenly labelling people like Foley and Stanford as Democrats.. heck even McCain at one point. Once or twice is a mistake, 3 and more times is a pattern or total incompetence.

In the last three years, much less the last three months, PeteEU has been called out and busted/debunked far MORE than Fox News will be in the next three years or three hundred for that matter. This is what PeteEU has a history of doing.............

Fox News has at the least far more integrity than a typical internet loon, as they at least have to stop and acknowledge when they have been proven wrong or incorrect, which is why they have far more integrity than an internet loon. Now PeteEU, this fella like so many others on the internet, just keeps repeating the same old dirge, no matter the years and accumulated corrections and debunking of his slants, day after day, week after week and year after year. Which is what separates PeteEU from the common internet loon.

Of course the Libbos would see this and the FNC deal as different. No surprise there.

And for the last 3 years you Sir Lion have used every trick in the book to avoid debating anything on these boards. Time and time again you have answered posts on Fox News and pretty much everything else, with dismissals, refusing to accept evidence based on what site posted it, avoidance, attempting to derail the subject and when everything else fails you have resorted to personal attacks. You have yet to actually debate anything.

I and others claim to have evidence of bias on Fox News. We provide evidence of this bias, including in the words of the freaking owners, and what do you do? Attack the source and attack the person pointing out the facts. You have yet to disprove the facts in any way or form.

You have not debunked anything Sir Lion.. to debunk something you need to actually debate the subject and come with facts that to counter the complaints. You have not done so yet.

Fox News is and always has been the mouth piece of the RNC. It is biased as hell through out its coverage and is more an entertainment channel than a news channel. You can get ample proof of the bias of Fox News by just watching the damn channel and if that is not enough there is plenty of evidence on the net. Hell John Stewart on the Daily Show has time and time again caught Fox News in falsehoods, miss representations and out right hypocrisy.

A good example.. Under Bush people demonstrating the US government because of the war or anything else, were violent leftists who were a danger to the US. Under Obama when someone protests the US government they are "average god loving Americans" and "True Americans"... Funny how that changed over night.

In a simple word poor sad shtick Pete, there are just far too many threads filled with me debating those who actually can do so, for your idiotic claim to be anything other than another brain dead DOA PeteEUism. And guess what Einstein? A simple visit to my posting history verifies it. So quite naturally the rest of the above diatribe is a testament to your honesty and integrity. Want to debate that?

You and "others" do indeed yammer endlessly that Fox has bias, missing all along that everybody in the cable news business has bias, and since they are all reporting the exact same information 24/7 your "bias" arguments are yet again another DOA PeteEUsm. And you want a cookie and pat on the back for managing to avoid, duck, flee from and most importantly pretend to not understand otherwise? OK I'll buy you a box of self inflicted brand "bias" cookies of the obtuse variety. I'll throw in a box of those nice soft aloe vera coated Kleenex tissues or a free therapy session with Dr. Phil once you give me your address.

Oh I've debunked you (and many other deep thunkers) plenty of times, as the aforementioned visit to my posting history readily demonstrates. Also, I just debunked you again, see the above.... poor clueless Pete. This is why watching you, a person who can't cope with some pretty simplistic facts of the real world, try to harangue others about "facts" is such a hootenanny. You are at such distance from "facts" that watching you try to claw at them as you claim to have them is a truly maundering exercise.

Like so many who labor under the burden of self imposed ignorance and Fox News Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, you neither grasp the not so subtle differences between hard news delivery and opinion commentary nor the difference between conservatives and republicans. So it is not too surprising to see yet another Fox OCD patient yammering that a comedian has "caught Fox News lying again and again" and for this you still really really want that pat on the back and cookie. Chuckle.

Funny how that incoherent mess was supposed to be an "example" of something other than your own intellectual limitations. Pete I want to thank for validating and demonstrating my point about your vacuous and specious approach to "debate" as you like to pretend at. Yes yes not only do you admit that after years you still...don't ...get...some pretty basic primary school level realities that most adults do, but you are still claiming that there are many "examples on the internet" that support your fallacious posturing. Which always brings those in the know about you to the simple fact that if such was the case you could easily demonstrate the matter and in such a way as to be persuasive to people other than those suffering from the meek mind speak of the common internet Fox OCD duncery.

Sorry Pete, I would not give a child a pat on the back or a cookie for such failure to grasp or the failure to admit obvious realities of the world, much less a supposed grown up. Since I've no doubt you will awake tomorrow suffering from the same mind wipe of any inconvenient information you were exposed to the day before, I'll be here to help you out. Much like truly blond Drew Barrymore in "50 First Dates" you need all the help with your cognitive recall you can get, on a daily basis.
