It is clear that being Bias on the Liberal side does nothing for ratings and you would think that someone in the Executive Offices of CNN would take note that being part of the Obamedia was not good for business and let's face facts. No one is in the news business for altruistic reasons. At least not any more. There were two in history that I know were close but just close. Those two being Edward R, Murrow and Walter Cronkite.
As I look at the numbers all I can say is I'm sorry so many are going to be out looking for works at all of these Obamedia outlets.
Do the math and it looks like they all fell very short even all together.
thank you for highlighting the lack of intelligence in television viewers.

Now, now... you shouldn't talk about the CNN and MSNBC viewers like that. They don't know any better.

CNN remained mostly the same.

MSNBC decided to take cues.

So there's the results we have. The channels catering to specific demographics finish #1 and #2, while the channel attempting to stay a relatively normal media medium (which is generally slight left) is at the end of the pack.
Once the leftist flower children of the 60's had thoroughly infiltrated and saturated all of the mainstream media, there was no voice for many, even most Americans. But nature and politics abhor a vacuum, so enter first conservative talk radio that began picking up steam in the mid to late 80's and then in 1996 Fox News was launched on cable television.

Both conservative talk radio and Fox news quickly dominated the market because a) they provide information or the 'other side' that the leftists media sources won't touch unless bullied or shamed into it and b) they provide the ONLY voice available to modern American conservatives. They aren't successful because they tell conservatives what to think. They are successful because they provide ALL the information, not just what they want you to believe, and they also reinformace a point of view that conservatives already hold and which almost all others ignore, ridicule, or appear to condemn.

It is significant because recent polls indicate that those who identify themselves as 'conservative' are now the nation's largest demographic. You would think enterprising profit-driven media outlets would be smart enough to recognize that wouldn't you?

And I think as CNN continues to lose those with real star power like Glenn Beck and with staying power like Lou Doubbs, CNN's numbers will continue to deteriorate.
