Brilliant.

I saw this the other night! Hilarious and true! Stewart really put Fox "news" in the proper perspective!

Good comedy should be a way of presenting truth that challenges common perceptions. Political comedy should be about redefining the inherent absurdity in politics in such a manner that we can easily see where the problems lie. There has been more political action from comedy than from "news"

Every president has enemies, and they are all intelligent enough to know who they are. Does that constitute an "enemies list"? Perhaps you are not old enough to remember how Nixon used the FBI and other government agencies to go after his enemies. I worked for an alternative radio station at the time and can testify to the bizarre tactics Nixon's henchmen used to silence their opponents. In the current case, we have a White House acknowledging what everyone knows, that Fox has an agenda. That's a far cry from sending out federal agents to kill people or beat them up.

"second", I think even you might realize the conundrum that Bush got us into in Afghanistan, committing the military to a wasteland that already ruined the Soviet military. Increasing forces will not win the "war" and withdrawing will send a victory to Alqaeda. Bush took about a minute to decide to start the war, and look where it got us. Obama is trying to find a solution, not just make a gut decision quickly to satisfy critics like you.

There's no doubt that I have no memory of the Nixon administration as I wasn't born yet. I do however see Nixon being much more aggressive in his ways than the other Presidents; especially when it comes to stifling opposing viewpoints. While Obama and others are quite subtle (in comparison to Nixon), if you give them a lever that would immediately silence opposition then you should not doubt that they would use it.

Some would call Nixon brash, stubborn, brutish, and totalitarian, but I would say he's like any other United States President of modernity, just more blatant.

You've seemed to induce my post with a critique that is not there. I was not criticizing Obama's strategy. I was merely stating Obama's M.O.

Bush has nothing to do with this question. Bush would have increased the troop size in Afghanistan at the heart's murmur-- regardless of what the opposition says-- I think Dear Leader is trying to be more cautious than the Bu****es.

If you think professional wrestling involves any kind of talent you shouldn't be in show business.

Plus, every president before Nixon. Pretty much every politician, actually.
