And it has some entertaining segments. I don't think a daily news watcher is any stupider than a Glenn Beck viewer. They both have to realize what they're watching is not news, it's entertainment. Fox News for example only shows news 9-4, 6-8 on weekdays and entertainment the rest of the hours. I hope those viewers know they're not watching news.

I would argue that every President since Nixon has had an enemy list. It's not unique.

Secondly, in the grand scheme of things these events are smoke-screens (as was the O'Reily spill earlier this year)... they're buying time... they don't want to make the decision on Afghanistan.

No, I realize it is confusing, but Colbert is the news, while The Daily Show, and Futurama are both commentary.

but in all seriousness here.. It's not too hard to keep straight.. the name of the network he is on is Comedy Central, it has "comedy" right there in the name, so we can be constantly reminded that what we are watching is comedy.

Kinda like what they do at some networks for the new....
