Its another reason why to read other news sources other than the big four. The only reason I even watch CNN is for Lou Dobbs and Fox for Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano. I used watch Olberman once in a great while but then he just became annoying.

Lou Dobbs...? Isn't he too populist for a libertarian?

Just for the heck of let's set aside all news agencies mentioned and imagine a brand new network that is going to revert back to the Who, What, When, Where, and How of all stories. In other words the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I know it's stretch to be able to imagine this, but ask yourself how would the Obama Administration for that matter or any respond to the truth coming out day after day night after night week after week? I'm a retired investigative reporter among other things, who sought to do nothing less that that. I can assure you that when any politician is confronted by his or her own words showing they are a liar suddenly the reporting is unfair biased and has slant in the mind whom ever the subject of the story is. Today it's Obama being caught in his own words lying repeatedly and also exposed appointing self avowed Communists/Socialists and radical extremists of all types with all kinds of wacko Anti-American views. I know this to be true because I have seen and heard it in their own words.
So what we end up with is no chance of ever being in the good graces of any Administration if all we do is tell the truth. We can see this from back in the Bush era when his missteps mistakes and or lies were exposed and it seemed like Fox was always defending him with O'Reilly leading the way. Now Obama has set a new record for being caught straight up lying and he has not just one defender in the media but most "Mainstream Media" outlets, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, all blatantly either slanting news or ignoring big stories until the magnitude of the story requires coverage. Perfect case in point is the ACORN story.
So what does all this mean? I means like beauty Objective Journalism is in the eye of the beholder.
And no I don't write very well for a reporter but then I was a Radio Reporter and Talk Show Host not a writer.

Yea he is a populist but with all populists there are things one can agree on and other things that one doesnt. It depends on the issue.

Why can't Libertarians get anybody elected? Oh I know

1. We're all too stupid to understand Ron Paul & the like.
2. The media sucks.
3. We hate Freedom & Liberty.

It's not a stretch at all. It's called the News Hour on PBS. Or C-Span.

C-span is not journalism, just a live camera on the government. The News Hour may be the only purely objective news on television. It's not easy to do, every journalist has their own opinion on things, and their stories will be "biased" accordingly. At Fox, they make that bias part of the journalistic method, and don't pursue leads that argue their agenda.
