Interesting op-ed that calls it right. The media such as the NYtimes have become nothing by moveon.org type propagandist front groups for Obama.

Unsurprisingly from the Washington times, and predictably without any single instance of proof that "the media" is favoring Obama while knifing McCain.
Blankley claims that "the media" have ignored whole sections of Obama's life while viciously attacking that of McCain and Palin.
Interesting because I don't see any story about the Keating five anywhere.
Keep on thinking the liberal left controlling the media conspiracy.

I thought you were doing pretty good there until you got to the Keating Five story line. References to and the details of it are everywhere. Recently I've read about in the paper, CNN and Headline News made mention of it in reporting last night. It is part of every single "special" and biography about McCain's history and it gets brought up by pundits on every news channel in existence. Chris Matthews spent several minutes trying to tie it into a bit he did on McCain and the current financial debacle in the last few days.

Of course it gets mentioned here at DP weekly, and now as we can see....today.

The reason you are not seeing any stories about the Keating Five is because it 2008 and that old story is just that.

The title of the OP/ED is wrong IMO. There is a difference between being in the tank for Obama and in the pocket of Obama.

The media is trying to sell newspapers.

They perceive that the greatest number of people want Obama.

What they haven't figured out is that the people who keep this country running -- the mentally alert middle class -- do not.
