I saw the rerun of that epsiode today and I must say it was quite revealing. But lets be real, we all understand politics and the GOP, I dare say was surprised by Palin, so of course they were scrambling to get behind her, even it meant contradicting themselves.

The better episode was that which compared Fred Thompson to Foghorn-Leghorn and Liberman to Droopy Dog.

C'mon the guy is funny as sh!t, but is more so when he is not trying to be reporter or political whatever.

Sure some of the political pieces he does are really good, but when he starts trying to make a point he normally screws things up from being funny.

You have to be able to laugh at politics, and there are just too many opportunities to do so.

My problem with John is that he is so fanatically joined to one party that he can not seem to see clearly at times, and therefore misses some good stuff, and also that there seems to be a growing group of people that get their political news input from his show (seriously scary no matter your political beliefs lol).

Do we not already have enough democrat party media bias in the news that we don't need left wing comedic bias

Excellent objective opinion Captain America!

While I lean to the left, I have come to really enjoy and appreciate Pat Buchanan's view on this election. He adds real experience and a ton of intelligent insight into what he's speaking on. In this day of "talking dick heads" he is truly a breath of fresh air.
