I’m of the mindset that this sort of thing goes on fairly often and we don’t get to hear much about it - I’m sure many of you disagree but let us first agree on something. The truth that another Palestinian is dead at the hands of the Israeli army. Hammad Hossam Mussa was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers in the village of Ni’lin on Tuesday whilst he protested at their presence.

On July 2nd this year, a Palestinian man drove a tractor through the streets of Jeruselem and left three people dead. It was major news right across the world making most networks main headlines, and yet here we have the story of a young boy being shot dead by the Israeli army and we are yet to see a similar media circus.

Let me get the usual bashing over with fast.

1) Its a terrorist loving site. Or even better.. its originally from Al-Jazzerra so it has to be a lie as they favor the terrorists and eat babies and want to rape our women.

2) You are an anti-Semite. How dare you question what Israel does!

3) You love terrorists and hate Israel. Arabs defending their homes are terrorists and Jews defending theirs are not. Its Middle East 101.

Yes, western media, especially the US media are extremely pro Israel and barely if at all cover what happens in the occupied areas unless some Palestinian kills a Jew. And when they happen to report on Jew vs Palestinian violence, then they are branded anti-Semite Israel hating terrorist loving and so on.

But dont worry I fully expect the usual suspects on these boards to yet again attack me and the OP in the usual way so the discussion will be derailed before it is even started.

It's because we need to think of everything like we do a John Wayne movie. Where good guys are clearly good guys and bad guys are clearly bad guys (hoooray to color-coded hats!).

It was decided long ago that Palestinians are wearing black hats, and that they are always wrong. It's sad to see them losing their lives, but if they would just accept the fact that they can never be right (because of their hats) we'd all be much happier.
