Given all the nasty things said about republicans on that channel. I wonder why this is a suspendable offense.
Can you provide me one example of "nasty things" on MSNBC as it relates to a news program? This does not include Keith Olbermann's show or Dan Abrams. Those aren't "news" shows.

Does it include the circus of pundits all these channels have?

I'm sorry, I missed where you provided proof first in post #46. Seem odd that you would demand I search the internet for some kind of proof when you are not willing to to the same.

Re: Just when I think Fox News cannot go any lower.....

It is fascinating to watch the whiney diatribe Liberals blather the internet with about how biased Fox is.

Have any Liberals here watched Chris Mathews Hardball on MSNBC?

Have any Liberals watched Keith Olbermann and Countdown?

If you can argue that these shows are LESS biased than Hannity and Colmes or The O'Reilly Factor, let’s have that debate.

I watch Chris and Kieth and quite honestly, I find it hard that anyone could make an argument there is no Liberal bias on those shows.

I also watch the news on CNN and Fox, and quite frankly the ONLY difference in their coverage is CNNs news reporters show a surprising lack of curiosity when it comes to interviews and getting fed a story line as opposed to Fox News reporters.

Is Fox News Fair and Balanced? It depends on our own biases. I would suggest that it is more balanced in that almost ALL their shows try hard to include BOTH sides of every issue on their talk shows and that Fox also balances out the profound bias found on the mainstream news channels like MSNBC, NBC, ABC and CBS. The notion that there is balance in the media is laughable at best. So yes, they should be able to claim that they are “Fair and Balanced” just based on this.

Fox should be seen as a blessing by Americans that provides an alternate forum for presenting the news and ideas in an intellectual effort to get at the truth and the facts which allow us to make more informed and BETTER decisions.

The incessant attacks from Liberals just proves the case that they would prefer to control the news Americans get and illustrates that opposite of what they profess about being more open minded, they exhibit a narrow closed minded myopic view that seeks to destroy any information or ideas that may conflict with their already pre-conceived notions about the environment and the world.

What is sad is that their desperate grip on the American education system has given us a generation of derelicts who probably couldn't find the country of France on a world map without help.

Liberals think there is balance because in their feeble minds, they think they actually are the middle and majority opinion. Yet when one polls Americans and their ideas, Liberalism gets its butt kicked.

Liberal policies are FAR from the norm that most Americans desire. Yes the Liberal media has worked overtime to convince Americans that BIG Government programs for the disadvantaged are good, that the burden to pay for such largess will be born by those who can easily afford the largess and that Liberals with high self opinions about their own intellect and closed minded regarding alternate ideas are better equipped to tell them how they should live their lives.

How profound that we have a major political party in this country which operates on a platform that higher taxes and BIGGER Government programs are somehow good for society. Yet the historic evidence constantly suggest otherwise.

I will remind you all of the formerly Liberal ideas that made this country great in the first place. And it was nothing close to a Socialist Government that controls how we live and think and creates a dependent class of voters that will keep those high opinion Liberal intellects in power for the next century.

Main Entry: lib•er•al•ism
Function: noun
Pronunciation: 'li-b(&-)r&-"li-z&m
1 : the quality or state of being liberal
2 a often capitalized : a movement in modern Protestantism emphasizing intellectual liberty and the spiritual and ethical content of Christianity b : a theory in economics emphasizing individual freedom from restraint and usually based on free competition, the self-regulating market, and the gold standard c : a political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of the human race, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties d capitalized : the principles and policies of a Liberal party

Thank our educators for the following illustration of profound ignorance and stupidity:

I watch this show almost every weeknight. I disagree that there is a liberal bias on this show. In fact, I have sent Chris Matthews no less than 10 e-mail complaining about how he treats Democrats compared to Republicans on his show. (That bastard has never written me back )

Definitely agree that he is a die-hard liberal with serious bias. The difference with Keith and Hannity is that Keith treats his guests with respect. Hannity is a jerk to anyone who doesn't agree with him.

Your anger is a little strange, IMHO. Do you own Fox News?

....because you say so. I find that Hannity treats most of his guests with respect until they start ranting and insulting him. Then of course, he treats them they way they deserve to be and typically the ranting loons are on the Left of the political spectrum.

I would not expect you to see that with your narrow myopic point of view however.

Once again you make an ASSumption, and would be wrong; however, being wrong appears to be something you are quite familiar and comfortable with.

There is hardly any anger in the statement above; that would be a wild eyed assertion on your part....and it's wrong as usual.

I pointed out that my comment was not definite. Thus, I have no proof. My statement was made tongue-in-cheek. Nevertheless, I don't care that you seem to be bothered by the fact that I haven't provided you evidence. *shrugs shoulders*

I see why you think Hannity treats his guests properly--look at the way you "talk" to me. It's incredibly immature. My "narrow myopic point of view." This kind of thing is beneath me.....seriously. How old are you?

Anyway, to me, a host of a show should treat all guests with respect. If a guest is treating the host in an unprofessional way, I think it shows sophistication and maturity when a host rises above unprofessionalism. If I saw people protesting the President, and I saw him give these people the "finger," I would think less of the President. Sorry, but just because someone is a jerk to you doesn't mean you have to be a jerk back. A confident person wouldn't stoop to that kind of level.

LOL Yeah, being wrong is something with which I am quite familiar and comfortable. Keep coming up with your insults--I find it humorous, and it lets me know that I must be saying something that upsets you so much that you feel the need to put me down. Again

Just to add, I got pregnant and I did NOT want to go through with the pregnancy. I ended up having the child anyway, and I cannot believe I ever thought I didn't want a child. I love him so much, I can hardly stand it. If that was a "wrong" decision, then, yes, I am completely comfortable with it.
