If anything it seems like something out of the Bible or some other religious book. Somebody realizing their mistakes and then trying to change themselves by correcting them. It's superhero mythology with a modern backdrop. Nothing more nothing less.

There are influences affecting you that you are not conscious of. | Actually, it DID show the military in a positive light. Every single part concerning the military itself was positive.
It showed a corporation as being decietful. This is hardly a new concept, in any way shape or form. Its an age old thing; Power, corrpution, etc. I think you're LOOKING for a reason to be offended, LOOKING for a way to tie it into the politics of today, and thus are finding it where its not meant to be. I also think it was easily in the top 3 best marvel movies of all time, and probably top 5 of superhero movies. Was amazingly well done, good comedy, no really bad cheezy lines, good acting, great effects.
Though ironically enough, Stark in regards to the comics is probably the closest thing to a "Neo-con" there is. His actions in the Civil War saga was just spot on.

I had a hard time noticing the US military due to...oh, I dunno... the hot sexy guy in the flying iron suit.

I mean I work out pretty much every other day or everyday and it's taken me a while to build myself up(mostly because of health problems). This guy is 40+ and looks in top physical shape which would IMO be hard for somebody with a hard drug abuse history. Anyways yeah the movie was pretty hot. And Gwyneth well.....let's just say I didn't think she could look that good as a secretary. The movie was pretty good and I hope there will be more Avenger references in the sequel(which is apparently already being talked about). |

Now just mix all those together and you got a baddass super soldier.
Is there a way just to get the video URL to pop up instead of the whole video?
