You know, I'm still waiting for concrete examples, but they're just not a-comin'... If you want to debate Obama's stance on any given issue, I'm game, but if not, I'm leaving.

So when the press throws such piddly and insignificant things at Obama like the Ayers thing, that's a softball, but when the press has thus far given McCain a free pass on issues like his lobbyist connections, that's attacking?

(I consider Ayers to be a complete nonissue. The state senator that was grooming Obama as her successor decided to have a kick off party at Ayers house. Obama didn't choose the place, and I doubt Obama even knew who Ayers was. Obama has repeatedly denounced Ayers, and there's no indication that they were ever more than just neighbors. Any blame for the Ayers party falls at the feet of Obama's predecessor.)

Um...no. Obama being linked to and taking contributions from terrorists is a far bigger issue than the partisan "scandals" the NY Times keeps trying to invent against McCain regarding lobbyists.

I'm afraid the links are a bit more extensive than that:

To recap: there is a picture of Ayers stomping a flag, and Ayers can be linked to Obama if you try hard enough. In other words, this is a nonpoint.

Obama had been serving on the Wood Fun board since 1993, I belive. Several years later, Ayers joins the board. This doesn't mean anything except they were both movers and shakers in the same city.

So what? Lots of people donate money. I don't really think Obama was doing a background check on everyone who donated money to his state senate campaign. I'm sure if we went through any other candidate's history, we'd find similar donations. Remember that Paul/Stormfront nonissue?
