It scares me that I ate it up...lived in fear...drank the kool-aid. When I created this forum, the television never changed channels.
I didn't believe that FoxNews was extreme biased and manipulating the public until I saw first hand FoxNews *ignoring* Ron Paul.
I also see this type of trend starting to form in MSNBC & CNN "shows".
Anyway, you decide. OUTFOXED : Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism |

| I think you're right on the money, Vauge. Fox has always been the network with the biggest and most transparent bias, but without a doubt, all of the networks appear to be carrying the water for someone.
We've got Bill O'Rielly, Kieth Obermann, Chris Matthews and John Stewart for the commentary/entertainment pieces.
News should be news. There's a horrible disconnect with the role media plays and the role it is meant to deliver to the public.
I'm glad that you are able to see Fox news for what it is. It's a sickening feeling to know that you've been duped, but smart people say, "lesson learned" and move on (no pun intended). I wish you all the best in your new life....free from the Fox Brainwashing Machine.
Cheers, |

Current Mood: | Re: Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism Whilst i would agree fox news is right leaning.Im 20 minutes through and this documentary seems to be a bunch of bitter ex employees making statements that get proven by going through thousands of hours of footage.Im sure you could use the same method and make MSNBC look like a far right news channel.
There is always something about American documentaries that is just so contrived in a lazy way.Maybe its the Michael moore/Morgan spurlock effect.

There is always something about American documentaries that is just so contrived in a lazy way.Maybe its the Michael moore/Morgan spurlock effect. | You know, that's the first thing I hear from the Bush apologists. However, considering not only the ex FOX News employees, but the many who have resigned the Bush administration and told all, those who have resigned Federal agencies, the fired Republican prosecutors who Bush had hand picked that are speaking out, generals who have resigned the military, those who have quit the GAO, the ex CIA employees who are speaking out, the tempest in a teapot has become an avalanche. The cry of "sour grapes" just doesn't cut it anymore. Sooner or later, Bush is either going to have to accept a little responsibility for his actions while in office, or the Republican party, along with their enablers, such as FOX News, are going to go down in a big way. Their position that the American people are so gullible that they can still say "sour grapes" just isn't going to cut it any more. And if they are thinking about getting us back in line with fake terror alerts, that isn't going to cut it any more either. You can only lie so much before it all unravels. Sorry, but too many Americans have taken the red pill. The lies are all dead, and the rabbit hole no longer exists.

Less than a minute in it has a go at private enterprise as if it is some pure great evil.
It next has someone high up from media matters, for gods sakes, telling me about "distortion".
Four and a half minutes in, a reagan tribute is "Propoganda".
I'll watch this tomorrow when I can tilt and adjust my seat and monitor so the picture looks straight, as right now its so slanted to the left my eyes are hurting trying to watch.

FOX News has always supported everybody but Bushneviks.
And no, I never said Bush was a Hitler. He is more like a Stalin.
