I see Bill-o as a fence-sitter in a lot of ways. Truly, Ithink the man just tries to cozy up to power regardless of who that is.
He's traditional in a lot of ways, I guess that could be construed to mean that he's on the right.
He refers to Michael Savage as a crazy far-right loon (he is sometimes granted) ...

| What exactly have I said that's basement worthy? I pointed out that you made a fallacious argument, you claimed that those two figures weren't idiots, and then I quoted them. Seems pretty innocuous to me.

If you ask me what this is is this morning Rush woke up, looked at the numbers and saw that if Mike Huckabee didn't win big he'd be mathematically eliminated from winning the nomination in an non-brokered convention, and realized Republicans are gonna get behind McCain, but he can't flip flop, so what does he do? Claim it's all a ruse, a ruse that he must continue with a vehemence that can convince his regular McCain hating listeners that he's still serious (despite acknowledging on air that he's screwing around). |
Was there ever any doubt?

There is a difference between voting for someone and enthusiastically supporting them. IMO, that is going to be a big problem for the Repubs in Nov. With McCain at the top, a lot of people are not going to bother to go to the polls and the down ticket Repubs are going to pay the price. | I disagree,,,,,,,,When they look at the alternative they will gladly vote for McCain.... |

Prey tell, how do you know this or is this just more bias from someone who has never listened to his show?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Limbaugh here. I'm merely pointing out that the poster most likely speaks from which they have no information to support their claims. I've listened to Limbaugh in the past and he isn't for me. Limbaugh is so over the top it isn't even funny. I don't listen to talk radio at all to be perfectly honest. Talk radio is nothing more than commentary from one's one pre-conceived bias. Rush is just as bad as Randi Rhodes, Stuart Smalley or Janeane Garofalo, and yes I listened to them too, so that I have a base of which to speak. But of course, you failed to mention that in your post, you just jumped on Limbaugh for being 'grotesque'. Could it be that Randi Rhodes is just as 'grotesque' as Limbaugh is? Of course it is, but your obvious bias prevents you from coming out and admitting the truth.
Bottom line, anyone who listens to anyone on talk radio (left, right or center) and takes their word as "gospel" (pardon the pun), is a moron. While you may agree with what they are saying, it doesn't make it true. Try doing some research of your own and forming your own opinions instead of listening to someone form them for you. We could start hundreds of threads about <insert talk radio host here> said this or <insert talk radio host here> said that. Who f'ing cares? They are all biased buffons who get morons to believe whatever they say, no matter if it's true or not, and BOTH SIDES do it, not just the right.
