Analysis: Over Half of All Statements Made on Fox News Are False

Do you hate women because you are a liberal, or are you a liberal because you hate women?

Oooo catchy terms and innuendos all because I'm deriding an advertising agency named Fox News with paid sycophants wearing pounds of makeup. There's definitely loads of legitimate outrage in your post towards me on this issue.

It's the old saying, men are from Mars, women are from Venus, right wingers howl at the Moon from which the right gets its lunar ideas.

Faux actually doubles as an employment agency of the many Republicans it can't get elected to the White House and also for those it couldn't help get elected to the Senate.

They join people like Bill O'Reilly whose O’Reilly Factor, pulls in about 3.3 million viewers on its best nights, which is about 3% of the US population and runs behind World Wrestling Entertainment, SpongeBob SquarePants, and the lowest ranked of 'em all, CBS Evening News.

Faux has the highest average age factor of any of the cable politics programs, 68 years.

Mike Huckabee is on a sabbatical from Fix News so as soon as he and Rick Santorum settle between 'em which one gets Jesus Christ as his running mate and gets run out of the nomination marathon, Fix viewers will once again be seeing his lunar face and enjoying his lunar orbit views.

If It's Sunday, It's Still Conservative

Media Matters has published a report that documents the conservative bias of some of the most prominent political programs on television. Their extensive research shows that... "During the 109th Congress (2005 and 2006), Republicans and conservatives held the advantage on every show, in every category measured. All four shows interviewed…

This thread basically validates my anecdotal opinion of three traditional cabal news channels:

- Fox pretty much blatantly lies for the GOP.

- MSNBC is a bit more truthful than Fox, but pushes the Dem line hard.

- CNN seems to be pretty neutral & factual, while also attempting to broadcast events in full context.

('context' is something Fox fails miserably at)

When you say "validates", I'm not sure what you mean. Are you claiming that this thread contains evidence to support ANY of your three assertions?

You watch it for five minutes and it should be obvious how often they are wrong.

Having said that, all major U.S. network news sources are ridiculously erroneous in their reporting...some more then others.

If you get most of your news from any of these sources, then you simply do not know what is going on in the world.

More accurately - I was referring to the analysis in the source document linked through the Starter Post of this thread.

You should've read the link, or the thread.

???

It was the conclusions in the linked document that support my anecdotal thoughts.

Conclusions mean nothing without evidence. Addicting Info's "analysis" of PunditFact's "study" drew conclusions that PunditFact wasn't willing to make. Did you see the disclaimer?

The comparisons are interesting, but be cautious about using them to draw broad conclusions. We use our news judgment to pick the facts we’re going to check, so we certainly don’t fact-check everything. And we don’t fact-check the five network groups evenly. CBS, for instance, doesn’t have a cable network equivalent, so we haven’t fact-checked pundits and CBS personalities as much.

I don't see what not checking-out other networks (like CBS) has to do with the work that's been done.

In my original post I was speaking specifically (and clearly) concerning the three major cable channels (Fox, CNN, MSNBC).

I'm not sure of your point here, but it seems you're attempting to discredit a poll or analysis you don't like.

(a poll which happens to agree with my personal opinion)

I could conclude that Hillary Clinton is a communist, but without evidence it means nothing.

Just to be clear, you seem to be under the impression that ratings correspond to accuracy.

Just to be clearer, sometimes ratings do correspond to accuracy, because level, common-sense individuals stop listening to the horse**** on the other news stations in less than 2 minutes.
